So, I ran across this video as a link in an IRC chat room I visit. After watching it a few times, I have to say that, while it is a little odd, the animation is superb(For one thing, it is all vector, so you can view it full screen without *any* blurring). I have never seen a smoother animated 2D animation of *any* sort, not even professionally(And I seriously doubt that this was professionally done).

Oh that's hot.
But um, the reason it doesn't lose quality is because it was made on Flash. Flash movies can play without quality reduction at any size.

Not if you are using raster images in it - using raster jpeg backgrounds is fairly common. When you use raster elements, as you scale them up beyond their native size, you will see resizing artifacts, like you would if you simply scaled the JPEG - However the point I am trying to make is that everything in this video is vector - so it will still look good at *any* size - even like 60 feet by 60 feet! With raster elements, you couldn't say that.

Right click on the direct link I posted, save link as.

It is only a SWF flash file, not like a youtube video where you have a .swf player file and a .flv video file. As such, if you save the .swf, you are getting a copy of the complete video.

So, first off, the song is actually a cover of Seperate Ways, by someone named Roland Grapow(Or so the info says). I have found and linked the song at the bottom of the first post.
Next off, I am surprised no one noticed(or at least pointed out) that the two dials on the TV at the loaded screen both do something. The bottom one, as you all well know, plays the video, but the top one. Ah, the top one. The top one gives the oh-so-useful info screen.
