I would like to apologise to the clan for my lack of activity.
I know more work was expected of me.
As soon as I can gather enough spare time together I will give it to WG.
A leader should give at least 2 hours a day to his or her clan, less on weekdays and more on weekends. I have been giving you nowhere near that.
In fact I am still in the planning stage with the council as to what we plan to work on.

You deserve better, but I don't know what I can do.
You'll see below, my timetable is absolutely full.

If my calculations are correct, I have around 24 hours in my week for my own things, not including setbacks that may keep me back at work or Uni etc. You can take away about 8 hours if that week, I happen to be going clubbing. In my 24 hours I have to divide my attention between my real life friends, WG, weekly activities like shopping, and sometimes... most Wednesdays (my day off) I get called in to work extra. Soon I'll be taking up formal piano lessons again. Realistically, I have about 6-8 hours for WG on the average week.

If you have any ideas on how I can maximize those 6-8 hours, tell me.
I feel like I should be giving you a lot more than I am.
Just... please be patient with me. Next week there's no Uni... that gives me 8 hours or so more.

Again, I will do my absolute best to give WG everything I have. I'll figure out away. Hopefully Germany will get flooded and the German race extinguished so I can stop learning German...

Gene, you just gotta do what you gotta do. WG is in good hands. You have stable leaders here who know how to do their job. There is nothing that can't wait until you have more time to commit to the clan. The only thing I can suggest is to at least check your PMs everyday and forward them on to people you know and trust to handle them in a timely fashion. If I can be of any assistance, let me know. I'm here for you and the clan.

You do your life first then WG, you being back in and in charge has made all the difference in the world here.
We are grateful for the time you spend with us. Don't overload yourself too much.
Think of you first.
Let me know if I can help you out in anyway.

Stop wasting time on less important things like t-shirts for WG.

Make a list of everything you need to do, then order them by priority. Then do them by priority.

There's a lot of time devoted to something called "Sleep".

Get rid of some of that and it'll give you more time biggrin.gif

On a serious note, what Owen said, make a list and order it by priority, then go down the list until everything is complete.

Don't worry about us Gene. You have to take care of your IRL things before you even think about us. Just get around to us whenever you can, and we won't think anything of it. We know you are a busy guy. hash.png

Seriously I wish you'd stop apologising all the time, although I know how you feel.
We have a very competent council, who are aware of your full-life and are more than willing to help as are all the other tertiaries.

I seriously hope you give me some stuff to do for you.
I am willing to help.

Good leaders can always delegate things out to the staff. Just check back that it gets done. Only do what others can't do for you. I think you just being in irc socializing has had great inpact. IRL has to come first.

Good Luck with your schedule.

It is a pleasant surprise to hear those words coming from your mouth Rick. I did not think you would ever agree with me here, but I am glad to see you have warmed up a bit to the current leadership.

Honestly Gene, just being here for moral support and the like makes a big difference. I disagree with Owen, the WG t-shirt was a great idea and an excellent morale booster.

Most important thing of all is don't make your life too regimented. When its so planned you don't have room to think, the days pass by as if nothing happened.

As people have said, its an unexplainably great thing just to have you around, in the IRC or whatever, even if you are away. It gives people that extra morale boost, and they know they can live a quick PM if they want to get in contact.

Really what you need to spend time on is defined by what crops up with the clan. We have many people here who are happy to do jobs and are good at it, and as rick says, many competant leaders. You having such a busy schedual, its no use you doing the jobs just anyone can do like uhh, doing anything with the memberlists, even though that isn't really your side anyway.

You're best doing things which a) puts your unique skills to good use (e.g. flash) and cool.gif puts you out as a figurehead of the clan, to show that you are still around and can be active - especially to the newer members.
