PLEASE note: I'm not trying to accuse anyone, this is just a pre-caution because it's better safe than sorry.

I'd like to suggest that our sign ups (For the +3 day preps fights, in other words most official wars) become PRIVATE AND ONLY ACCESSABLE BY RAID LEADERS+

There is a reason for this, anyone can intro to WG and within 2 days, he'll become a trial guardian, where that person can access our war forums and may leak some warring information to the other clan. I'm not refering to our trial guardians, I'm refering to the spies in this case.
Think about it, if they manage to see our sign ups then they can find out the perfect targets for piling before we meet them in CW, they also may adjust their tactics accordingly.

Again, please note: I'm not saying this because this happened and/or someone leaked war info, I'm saying this just as a precaution for wars in the future (Mainly RAWs and the officials)

Short prep fights (1-2 days) should have public sign ups since they really wouldn't matter much tongue.gif

There is no harm at all in linking to a private thread/pm so people can sign up instead of posting on the war thread. It'll keep these info safe and in the same time keep people anxious and excited about our turn-out.

Thoughts, opinions, etc? Post away biggrin.gif

Or you could move it to Level 1 which would require full guardian.

It's not like clans can crash wars, seeing sign up lists wont make *that* much a differance but for very important wars I guess this is ok omghash.gif.png

EDIT: When the new PvP comes out we will probably have to think things over.

Could work but it isnt very secure, anyone can use a secondary account and wait through our trial process, especially if its a clan we fight quite often

P.S. If that is also the case, how will our real trial's sign up for wars? tongue.gif

Edit:
@ Geoff

It's not bout crashing, its about having a pile order memorized that could help control the fight. Think about it, if we had 5 people who are average tanks and 1 person who is an awesome tank, the other clan spied so they piled the 5 people before the tanker, which caused us to lose.

If they didnt know, there is a chance that they'd pile the awesome tank, which could secure us a win.

In the forum's permissions, I -think- you can give posting but not viewing rights, so you link people to the reply to the topic page and they can sign up neko2.gif

I'm not sure if this works on our forums, but I know they do work on Phpbb, might ask robbie tongue.gif
