I like their sense of humor. I'm not seeing any trial period option anywhere, is there one or do you just have to cough up the $50 and buy it? And what's the monthly cost?

Its no way near how polished WoW is but thats expeceted as its only just released. I found it great fun for the short while that I played it. It seems quite casual as well. Overall I rate the game, it has great potential

I unfortunately was suckered into buying AoC also, and Warhammer is leaps and bounds better than it imo.

I admit, after I bought Warhammer it must have been an hour before I even opened it, because after the AoC disaster, I just wasn't sure I could "trust" or like mmos anymore.

But after finally opening it and playing it for 40 hours now, I definitely don't regret the purchase. Unlike Conan, WAR is actually a *finished* game; or should I say retail-ready at least. It has content all the way to and past the level cap in the form of RvR (PvP), your typical PvE stuff, and a whole lot of things to unlock in the Tome of Knowledge. Although I'm still a long ways away from reaching the level cap, I just got to say the the RvR is awesomely fun, and the public quests are a fantastic new feature that I'm positive will start appearing in many future mmos, and the game overall just feels like a funner experience in comparison to AoC and some other mmos I've played in the past.

So I don't think you should hesitate on buying the game. Regardless of how long you play it, just with the $50 and first free month you should really have gotten your money's worth in comparison to other games for the same or higher price.

While it's still too early to tell whether I personally will still be playing it months from now or not, at this moment I'm pleasantly surprised, relieved, and happy on how WAR is turning out.

Cheers for that, probably will get it, ive got about £100 and getting paid next friday and £25 GAME voucher so i've gonna buy a game. I will post what i think about it later.
