     IRC Nickname: Rick Hamm Group: Ex-Member Posts: 573 Member No.: 1214 Joined: July 14, 2008 Total Events Attended: 6    | I'm all for one helping out and trying to liven the spirits of WG up or whatever, but there are entirely too many people coming up with "ideas", ways to improve and trying to make changes that don't necessarily need to be made at this stage. Perhaps later will warrant some drastic changes but right now I think there are people who are suggesting things just to suggest them and they're not really thinking about how it will affect others, themselves, or the clan as a whole. Please, let's give Council (the ones you had complete confidence in) the chance to implement THEIR ideas before everyone starts shouting out things. This is why we elected them. We thought they would make the changes necessary to make WG an awesome clan, and they're doing just that, however, you're not giving them the chance to really shine. In essence, ideas should be run by COUNCIL before being posted on public forums. This gives Council a chance to see whether or not said ideas fit into their grand scheme of things, if you know what I mean. It also don't create divisions within the clan with some who think it's good and others think it's not so good. I mean, you'll still get that, but it's much more common to listen to how Council words things, than to listen to someone who knows what they mean, but don't necessarily say it in words, or in a way, that others understand. It's also common to realize that Council has our best interests at heart and wouldn't shove bad ideas down our throats all the time. I'm not saying every idea posted is bad. In fact, some are quite good but I believe Council should have the first say on whether it would be beneficial for WG to adopt said ideas or to wait until another, perhaps more opportune, moment to implement comes along. By posting them so hastily and not knowing what Council has planned, you're getting the clan members who like that idea into a frenzy, while others who don't care for it, in a foul mood. Does that make any sense at all? EDIT: I'm sorry, by Council, I also mean your Raid Leaders. They're the ones who make sure the wars and whatnot are up to par. Trust in them as well. They were appointed/elected in good faith too and I haven't seen one of them let anyone in this clan down. Give these people a chance...please. -------------------- | ||

The council is the group of people who know what they are doing, and are quite educated. If you give them a suggestion, then maybe they can include it in one of their future projects and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Also, if you give it to them directly and it seems like a plausible suggestion that would be implemented, then it would probably be discussed faster within themselves, and maybe posted in a better manner with more organization and a deeper dwelling than if you were to just post it yourself. And to be fair, the people in this clan, respect the leaders. If an idea is put forward by a council/raid leader.
