Farming Herbs, Allotments, Flowers
Visiting each of the 4 Allotment Patches.
Port Phantasmys, Catherby, Ardoune, Draynor

Sept 29 - Oct 3 2008
This will go for an entire week, Monday - Friday

Time
1pm PST
4pm EST
9pm GMT
(Not Aussie Friendly)

Meeting place
W27 Yanille
We will be starting with the Port Phantasmys patch, and for those who do not have an Ectophial, we can use my house portal to Canifis.

What to bring?
4 herb seeds (whatever you can grow)
4 Marigold seeds (best flower to grow for profit)
24 (?) Allotment seeds (number may vary with type, optional)
Glory or Explorer's Ring
Ectophial (if you have it)
Terrorbird pouch (optional)
Things that should be in your leprechaun
Rake
Spade
Seed dibbler
Super Compost
Enchanted Secaturs (if you have them)
Super compost (8 minimum, I will sell if needed)

There will be one farming run each day. You must attend 3 out of 5 to receive attendance.

Farming can give profit with only a little time invested. Seeds are cheap for most herbs. And marigolds give amazing profit for each one. With just one farming run a day, you can easily make 30k-50k a day. (varies depending on herb)

Starting farming isn't as hard as you would think. You only need a few tools, and a leprechaun near each patch will even store them for you, saving valuable bank space! It is also the easiest skill to start and do only a little at a time. You plant your seeds, then forget about them until the next day. You can do more than one farming run a day, depending on how fast your plants grow.

Get tools from your leprechaun. (listed above) Clear the weeds from your farming patch (rake), or pick your crop to get it ready for your seeds (spade, equip enchanted secaturs). Use super compost on it. Then use your seed on it (seed dibbler). Water it or not, I usually don't. Then go on to the next patch!

Terror bird recommended to store extra herbs that you get. I will be teleporting every one to the Ardy and Catherby farming patches. (Lunar magic is FTW for farming!)

I want every one to grow herbs and marigolds. Please buy the seeds in advance. Marigold seeds can be bought in Draynor from Olivia. Allotments are optional.

Day One:
Mild confusion. Last minute scramble for needed items. Hope people remembered to store items back with the leprechaun instead of in their bank... I only farmed toadflax and marigolds. Some did allotments.

Day Two:
I had serious connection problems. Need to work on getting more super compost. Or teach others how to make their own...

Day Three:
I'm really proud of Dalejamesw. He had his own super compost, and tbh, I didn't think he'd make it to a third day. Farming is something that not all people can stick with. Cory got left behind on the Catherby teleport, and I went back to get him. So far, my marigolds and herbs have done really well.

Day Four:
It's been 4 days already? Wow. 2 of my herbs died... frown.gif frown.gif frown.gif Still proud of Dale. He'll be a farmer boy yet!

Day Five:
Saad got lvl 62 farming. I had a flower die frown.gif And Dale is still farming! YAY! And Cory almost forgot about it!

I'd strongly recommend you guys to do this. I've been doing this for a while now, and heres my last harvest:

The ranarrs took about 1 1/2 weeks, but the marigolds were accumulated long ago
