Are you a skiller or a warrer?

No, the topic name is misleading. It was intentional. I don't want to know what you are, because it doesn't matter.

So what if Person X wants to attend more Wars than skilling events and Person Y would rather attend more Skilling events than Warring events?

The fact is, we're all part of this clan, so stop fighting with each other. It's pointless. Not to mention I'm(as well as I'm sure many others) are sick of it. None of the events in this clan are Mandatory. You come if you want to, if you don't, you don't show up. Though, if you sign up for the event, you should come or else you're labeled a douche. (Which makes sense, but that's not the point of this topic.)

The point of this topic is to say that us fighting is pointless. It makes things worse than they already are, so just get over it. That's how life goes. You either get over it, or you live your life expecting something that won't happen.

Message to the mods: This topic was not meant to start flames, or anything of the sort. If so much as one flame has begun, please lock/delete this topic. (Whichever you feel is necessary)

Now, I leave this to the rest of the members. Do you want to continue fighting like idiots and making things worse? Or do you want to just get over it and accept that some people would rather cut a tree than war and vice versa?

I totally agree that we should all just put this behind us and move on. It's not even so much that Person X wants to go to wars and Person Y would rather skill, it's the different attitudes towards each preference. That more than anything is what's causing all the drama. That more than anything is what has to change.

Why should we sweep the way we're treated under the carpet? Would it be so that you combat people can continue doing what you're doing by treating the skillers as if they don't matter and that all your events are what matters most? Please, I'm trying to see the logic behind your post. Is it genuine or is it just a feeble attempt at shutting down those who are noticing what the problems are?

I think "Warmongers" should become an accepted title alongside "Skillers." Seriously, I'd want to be called a warmonger. hash.png The infighting is absurd, let's have fun peeps.

Ere, we can only have fun when we're doing things together as a clan and that's just not happening at the moment. You have the warmongers on one side saying that we should shut up with the complaints about how they treat us and then you have us on the other saying that we're all in this together and warring isn't the only thing holding this clan together.

My post was genuine, Rick. I'm not saying we should just take the abuse and get rid of it totally, but I'm generally saying the the fighting needs to stop.

And in your post when you said "you combat people" were you referring to me as one of them? Because honestly, I consider myself more of a skiller. I raised Combat because I thought it was fun, not for wars. neko2.gif And I'm not even a huge war fan, but I go anyway. I was just curious if you were referring to "me" in the "you". Doesn't really matter though, lol.

I think a post by the council as a whole needs to be posted in important announcements, that this is a Warring clan or A skilling clan.

If it's both, just make 2 separate member lists, 1 for warring and 1 for skilling.

It can't possibly divide us more then the 50 bitching posts a week.

I find it funny that rick has only attended 4 events.
Yet he voices the opinions of somebody who has been to 50+ events.

I'm not starting on him or anything.
I'm just saying he's out of line when he goes on about how the skillers + fighters have to choose, yet he probably has only experienced that once or twice?
Maybe he should get more active so he can experience times where he has to choose + gets constantly bugged by the war ppl.

Such a low event count clearly does show a lack of knowledge.

I quote myself from Rob's topic

QUOTE
I really think this whole thing is funny.
Let me explain something.

There is no such thing as skillers are warmongers.
We are all RUNESCAPE PLAYERS.

Sure, some people like one over the other, but does that mean we label them?
I'll admit that I like warring over skilling, but I don't call myself a "warmonger."

Warring and skilling are two parts of this clan and two parts of a game you play.
If you joined this clan to war and not skill or skill and not war, wtf are you doing.

We are the wilderness guardians. We protect the wilderness. We skill in the meantime.
If there's a problem mixing the two, leave that up the the leadership.

Enough of these stupid topics.

I don't see where my event count has any bearing on this whatsoever. I'm in the IRC everyday and see what goes on there AND on the forums. Let's not forget that I also have people coming to me every single day and talking to me about things that are bothering them, or to chat about the exact things that I post about.

I don't have to attend events to know what's going on so your point is moot Maths.
