Again I'm reluctant to ask.
But here's the story.

Once again I am going to undertake a massive project in regards to WG technology.
I'm going to buy this:

http://www.eukhost.com/vps-hosting.php

What does it give us?

1. Forums go back to WG.com
2. WG.com gets massive upgrades
3. We get our own TS (I think Jenny is about to cancel our current one)
4. Apparently we can get a WGBot in the IRC 24/7 without needing anyone online
5. Adult material is allowed as long as it's legal (Hear that Steve?)
6. Many more benefits.

From an admin point of view, this is heaven.
Right now we have a different host for TS, WG.com files and WG.com domain.
It's a real headache.
This upgrade will combine everything we'll ever need.

The downside:
We are looking at $40AU ($37US) a month.
I am willing to pay up to $30AU, so somehow, 10 will need to appear every month.
Now ideally, I would like to pay $20AU, but I am prepared to go up to 30.

I am forced to ask the clan for generosity. I hear Abs was willing to pay for all of it. This I can't do, since I need to pay for the majority in order to keep rights of ownership, but if anyone has a Paypal account or can transfer into an Australian bank, or even post cash, all donations are welcome in any currency. I would prefer a bank transfer but I can't be fussy.

-------

You can pay a one time donation of anything, or an ongoing fee of perhaps $5 a month. Abs, if you are still willing to pay, 5 pounds a month would be perfect, maybe 8 if you are feeling generous.

If I get excess in donations, I will upgrade to the next plan up which offers even more facilities. Please guys, do this for your clan. I'm back full time so this money will not be wasted. Do not feel pressured at all.

If you wanted to donate, send me a PM and I will give you details on how to get the money to me. Also, please understand that you don't get anything in return except the prosperity of WG and my gratitude. I can't shortlist you for promotions or anything like that.

There is one more way for us to make donation money:
If people sign up at bux.to, which does pay out, using my referral link, then I get 1c for every ad you click and you get 2c(if you choose no referrer, you don't get any benefit). I will, upon payout, give any money WG members made me to Eugene, to help pay for the server. You guys can take any money you make and use it for Members, and or donate it.

Note that, like most valid ways of making money, this does take some work - a few minutes a day clicking the ads - but, in two months or so, you will have a nice, crisp, $10(US) waiting for you! Its worth it!

It is completely free to join.

I'll see what I can do... depends on what major expenses come my way though. Easier for me to do one larger one than several smaller though.

Off topic for a moment... Any one else notice that this is topic number 666? woeh.gif

Right now i'm only 15 years old and my parents control my bank account and such. I'll see if there's any way of doing it, however.
