Runescape is a game that revolves around the idea of being better than others.
Like many other MMOs, the goal is to get the best stats, get the most money, best gear, etc etc.
The truth is most people don't even come close to this.
So they waste years and years playing a game without fun to try and be the best.

Here in WG, the main thing we join for is fun, weather that comes through friendships, events, whatever.
If you're here to just make money and avoid everything else, you're not getting the full WG experience.
The leadership asks very little of you.
All they want is for everyone to attend events in a game you play.
Some aspects may be fun and some boring, but if you don't try you'll never know.

When someone makes an event, and you skim the topic and think "Nah, I won't like this," think about what you're really doing.
You are just being lazy and unwilling to try new things.
For all you know, you may have a blast and find a new hobby.

It's not asking too much to go to an event, especially while you're online.
The least you can do to thank the host for their efforts is show up.
I mean, do you really want to do godwars and castlewars 24/7?
So c'mon, try something new and broaden your horizons.

Runescape is a game made of 24 skills.
Every skill has something different that may appeal to you.
Put down your weapons and pick up a saw or a butterflynet or a harpoon.

Thank you

*catches Randy in a butterfly net*

Who knows? I laughed for 5 minutes straight after I caught my first rabbit. Think of how everything ties together. Wc actually ties into fm, fletching, mage, range, and herblore. Possibly more. There isn't much you can't do with mage. From crafting, hunter, farming, cons and more. You know that neat mage shortbow you have? You can start a fire with it! I can raise my agility and str by fishing! Can you?

I try to make every event that I can come to, and especially won't miss an event if I am online. It is not that hard, so why don't people do it?

I mean it might change your sense of momentum, but it is for the clan that you have joined and that you have been with for however long. Thank the people who lead the events, who have put their hard work in, such as Tabs or George, by coming to their events. I am sure if they get a massive turnout, that makes them happy and proud of themselves.

Do it for our leadership and ranked members. Do it for your clan. Forget about yourself for an hour and socialize and have fun with other people in-game.

Well, this goes both ways. I need to try and pick up the whip or sword more often and try new things too.

Your post made me think of some things I just might try. (Hopefully someone will be along to bless my grave. lol)

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.
