 yeh sure. looks cool, Sony isn't delivering a bad product with this one. I hope the price will be ok though.

It's $49.99 standalone I think but it comes with the new SOCOM game, bundle price is $59.99. I'll most likely get it with the game cause you don't come across many good games for $10 tongue.gif

They've been saying its coming for the last year but its always been delayed, its due before christmas though apparently.

Have you tried both? Didn't think so. Punk. o_O

I received mine with Socom, and I have to say that it's fantastic in every way. It's lightweight, flexible, and sexay smile.gif .

The HD output will leave you habitually checking and messing with non-existent wires, as you'd often think they were there.

Noise canceling is also very good. Compared to the Jabra headset that was included with retail packages of Warhawk last year, which was admiteddly very poor, it seems to be a non issue here. All you hear from other people with the headset is their voice; no air and other foreign noises.

Overall a great buy, and really the best option as far as headsets go for the PS3.

Just a note also, while you can essentially recieve it for a lot cheaper by buying it with the retail Socom package for $60, if you have absolutely no interest in Socom, limited copies of Tom Clancy's Endwar (great game to be, mind you) will include the official headset as well for the PS3 version. Only thing is that the Endwar package will cost about $90, but in Endwar's defense, I think it's a much better and retail-ready game than Socom is at the moment.

 Socom already came out in North America last week; I bought the bundle.

And for the record, the game isn't all that it was hyped to be. There's several missing features and various server issues going on at the moment. It looks like it was released earlier than it probably should have been just so it could be out before the big games come out- ie Fallout 3, Cod:WaW, etc.

So don't feel too left out that you don't have it yet, as it's probably for the better. Maybe the game will actually be "finished" when you guys get it.

Then again, you could just buy it on Ebay, since PS3 games are region free I believe. wink.gif

 i got it with socom confrontation, well its good but i would perfer to get the new platronics one, small, but this does the trick =)

SO hard to find servers and the gay glitches piss me off.
