You must have a minimum of two choices, but your vote is stronger if you arrange all of them. The applicants are in order of posting in the Election Application Topic. How the votes are counted It is a preferential voting system. After all votes are counted, the person with the least amount of first votes is eliminated. All votes for the person who got eliminated get redistributed to their second preference. Then the next person is eliminated and it goes on until we have two winners left who will assume the council position. ____________________ Closing Date Friday, October 31st ____________________ Who can vote? Anyone, including applicants and current council, but NOT Emeritus. The reason I have excluded emeritus is, you are not mainstream WG. The emeritus rank is basically a higher guardian rank, without the commitment. It's not fair that emeritus get the same privileges as everyone else and not have to commit to activity. So you can choose to return to mainstream, or not vote. Sorry. I'm going to revise the emeritus rank later on so that it is not so pampered with privileges. The full time members should really get more rewards. --------------------  | ||||

I am a part of wg, no matter how small. As emeritus, I am quite sure we have proven we know what WG is, needs and so forth and that we care about what happens in the future for WG. I disagree with you completely and am pretty pist. We were active during our time and choose to help WG in its path and give our opinions on what needs to change and even War when possible. --------------------  | ||||

The point of emeritus is being inactive. While inactive, lets say Council applicant A does this and applicant B does that. And you miss all of it. Why should you get the deciding votes? If you're active, you should be a guardian. -------------------- | ||||

Because If I know someone is a good choice they will also be forum active and do etc. etc. And people will recognize them. WG is a clan of 100 ppl max. Word travels fast and its not hard to see who people do or do not deserve council and who has respect and who doesn't and who would be voted for b/c they are peoples friends vs responsible and good members. p.s- My votes would have been either Jenny, George or Ranma.... Scaling it down to two was in the process when I found out I couldn't vote. -------------------- | ||||

Last few elections we let Emeritus vote. BIG Mistake. If I was still Leader, I would have done the same and taken Emeritus away from the voting list. Sorry to say, Emeritus was the biggest reason why Thomas got elected. I agree with Elias, you have to be Rs Active to vote for Council.
