Can you please read through the script and tell me if there's anything you want to add or take away? I'm trying to keep the speech about 2-3 minutes long. _______________________________ THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING TO WATCH THIS MOVIE. I AM HIS LORDSHIP, THE LEADER OF THE WILDERNESS GUARDIANS, AND I AM HERE TO TELL YOU WHY MY CLAN SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST CHOICE WHEN IT COMES TO CHOOSING THE RIGHT CLAN FOR YOU. THE WILDERNESS GUARDIANS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS NOW, AND SINCE OUR FOUNDATION IN 2003, WE HAVE BECOME ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS CLANS IN RUNESCAPE. NOW, I COULD GO ON FOREVER ABOUT HOW WE ARE ONE OF THE GREAT WARRING CLANS IN RUNESCAPE HISTORY, OR PERHAPS THAT WE OWN THE BEST CLAN WEBSITE AND FORUMS IN RUNESCAPE, OR I COULD EVEN BOAST ABOUT HOW WE HAVE BECOME ONE OF THE MOST WELL KNOWN CLANS IN THE GAME’S HISTORY… BUT THAT’S JUST ALL ICING ON THE CAKE. WHAT WG REALLY STANDS FOR IS THE COMMUNITY. OF COURSE, IT’S QUITE COMMON FOR OTHER CLANS TO BOAST ABOUT HAVING THE BEST COMMUNITY, SO HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY BELIEVE US WHEN WE SAY OURS IS BETTER? I’M GOING TO GIVE YOU FACTS TO BACK UP THE CLAIM THAT OUR COMMUNITY IS THE BEST COMMUNITY IN RUNESCAPE. THE WG COMMUNITY CAN BE CONFUSING TO SOME PEOPLE WHO AREN’T ACCUSTOMED TO SEEING SUCH A CLOSE KNIT COMMUNITY ONLINE. THERE’S SO MUCH MORE TO WG THAN RUNESCAPE, AND THAT’S WHAT SETS US APART. OUR FRIENDSHIPS GO SO MUCH DEEPER THAN PKING AND SIMPLE CONVERSATIONS. WHILE I WILL NEVER FULLY BE ABLE TO DESCRIBE HOW CLOSE WE ARE AS A CLAN, I CAN OFFER A FEW EXAMPLES THAT HELP DEMONSTRATE THIS. LAST YEAR, A COMMUNITY OF CLANS WAS ASKED TO NAME THE FRIENDLIEST CLAN IN RUNESCAPE, AND WG WAS THE MOST POPULAR CHOICE. OUR REAL LIFE MEETINGS HAVE BECOME WELL KNOWN THROUGH THE CLAN WORLD, AND OF COURSE, THE WG T-SHIRT HAS BEEN SOLD TO SEVERAL DOZEN MEMBERS. THAT’S A REAL KEY TO KNOWING A GOOD COMMUNITY. OF COURSE, BLURRING THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE GAME AND NORMAL LIFE HAS CONFUSED A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO CAN’T REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW POWERFUL THE WG COMMUNITY REALLY IS. THE WILDERNESS GUARDIANS COMMUNITY SHINES IN-GAME AS WELL. THE AVERAGE WEEK WILL SEE ABOUT 15 OR MORE EVENTS, SPREAD THROUGHOUT EVERY TIMEZONE. ANOTHER GREAT THING ABOUT THE COMMUNITY IS THAT WE ARE SO BROAD MINDED, WE OFTEN TRY NEW THINGS. AT LAST COUNT, WG HAD OVER 70 DIFFERENT TYPES OF EVENTS, STARTING WITH THE MORE COMMON PKING EVENTS AND DROP PARTIES OR GOD WARS TRIPS, TO SOME FAR MORE UNIQUE ONES, INCLUDING ITEM BOMBING AND FUNORB. THIS MAKES US THE CLAN THAT OFFERS THE MOST EVENTS, MEANING YOU’LL NEVER GET BORED WITH WHAT WE HAVE ON OFFER. NEW EVENTS ARE BEING INVENTED ALL THE TIME. YOU CAN PUT THIS STATEMENT TO THE TEST BY VISITING OUR WORLD CLASS WEBSITE, WHICH CARRIES OVER FOUR YEARS WORTH OF PHOTOS AND HISTORY. I COULD HARP ON ALL DAY ABOUT WHAT MAKES WG STAND OUT, BUT I DON’T THINK I WILL NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF. JUST A FEW MINUTES OF RESEARCH, AND YOU’LL SEE WHY WE ARE FAMOUS THROUGH RUNESCAPE. You got beaten bish. I offered to do this for Lordy in May and did it for the May, June, July pictures. I collected all the pics from events of May-->July and videos of wars/events too and compiled them, and compressed and sent em to Elias. I don't think I did August, but Lordy wants me to do that tonight I think  , we'll see. -------------------- | ||

Might want to consider putting a stronger emphasis on our warring/pvp aspect though, since it is the main thing that runs the majority of clans now. In addition to a good community, people tend to look for good warring clans, and clans that are active in pvp. -------------------- | ||

I disagree. We're trying to make ourselves be different. If you walk into a room where everyone is wearing black T-shirts except one person who is wearing a white T-shirt you notice the white shirt. We want to be the white shirt. We already say we war and do other events, but we're boasting our community. That's what sets us apart and makes us a better clan than others. Also Elias: Try and be somewhat consistent when you're referring to the clan. You go back and forth between "WG" and "Wilderness Guardians." Maybe when you first introduce the name, say something that informs the watcher that we're also referred to as "WG," possibly edit in a small picture that pops up and then goes away just to get the message across. Then use "WG" throughout and at the very end switch back to the formal "Wilderness Guardians." I'm a little sketchy on the some of the compliments you're giving us. I know several are true, but some of the warring ones, I'm not sure of. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. Just seemed a little over the top with some compliments. Other than that, pretty good. I'll keep looking at it and try to give you some more feedback. --------------------   | ||
