I'm thinking it'll come out of a dispute between Russia, the Republic of China, and the major European powers. England will be the major attempts at a mediator, with a possibility of the United States depending on our involvement in the Middle Eastern States at the time. The situation of Palestine will also play a key role, and a Russian-backed invasion of the region by Syria will probably occur if the Russians are confident of how the United States will react. Meanwhile Australia and Canada will be kicking back while Japan will be in defensive mode but may become involved in a dispute with China over Taiwan. Afghanistan and India both having nuclear capabilities complicates the region, and I'm not sure how France and Spain will react. Thoughts?
