      IRC Nickname: Kiwi011 Group: Emeritus Posts: 3052 Member No.: 40 Joined: December 30, 2007 Total Events Attended: 21    | Yea so I was wondering how people make fake servers for RS and such....I was just wondering because, if there is an easy way to do it, I think it would be a good idea to make it(only for WG members) and use it for practices, such as tactics and such, that way its easier to do stuff, you could work on war skills easier, and come up w/ new tactics easier..... I had this idea way back when the wilderness was still around b/c it would have been so much easier to practice then on war skills(with no crash's by gay clans). But yea, I just wanted to bring up the idea incase it was easy to do and if it could possible help since I don't really know what the pvp world is like atm =/ --------------------  | ||

yea ok but tbh 1. its only against jagex rules b/c some have keyloggers+virus'. 2. idk 3idk 4. you can change lvls on your acc at will. 5. idk But yea. I guess nvm, idk about how it would play. I was just wondering and making an idea. -------------------- | ||

And there is no copyright infringement, as all server code is made from scratch. I set one up briefly a few years ago, it was fun at first but it isn't anything like the real thing. --------------------   | ||

Makes a very good point. Anyways, to set up a private server is easy, but you'll be using someones very glitchy coding. To make your own from scratch, and have it be nearly identical, is almost impossible. To Mike: Have you seen the moparscape forums? All they do is talking about Runescape private servers, cheating, macroing, etc etc. They haven't been shut down for years. -------------------- | ||
