Since my civilisation, the Britons, could not build Siege Onagers, I had to rely on Trebuchets to clear the forest. I was assured by my knowledge of the game guide that this was possible. Read the description of the trebuchet in the game guide and note: "can cut paths through forests"  BUT NO! My trebs tried for almost 15 minutes to cut through, without success, while in the meantime the enemy ploughed through my defenses, myself being unable to hold them back. Had my trebuchets cut through, I could have sent four dozen cavaliers into the heart of Mike's town and destroyed his wealth and units from the inside instead of having to barge through the gates. You won because AOE2 glitched. Don't tell me I lost so easily to novices considering I was previously undefeated. -------------------- | ||||

I saw your map, after your initial walls you had nothing. I would have absolutely crushed you without trying... sent trebs in there, averted your army, and changed the flow.
