How To Play AoEII With WG

Step One

Obtain the Age of Empires II: Age of Kings CD or download it illegally and crack it.
It's not too difficult.This Page has a good crack. It's the third one down.
Once extracted, rename the file empires2 and replace the original game file.
AOEII on Amazon.com is sold for about $8 USD (used) and starts at $14USD for new ones

Step Two

Visit the AoEII Official Downloads Page and download the "Update 2.0a Patch" (If you don't, your game won't work in Multiplayer)

Step Three
When someone hosts a game (usually His Lordship), they will provide their IP address.

1. In the AoEII Main Menu, click Multiplayer
2. Select the Internet TCP/IP Connection Game
3. Click "Show Games"
4. Enter the host's IP address
5. When the game shows up, click "Join Game"

And you're in!

O well, Conquerors' Campaigns weren't that great anyways, neither were the classes IMO.

Age of Empires II is a real time strategy game where you start of with a few villagers and a town center, and you expand your empire and try to destroy other empires.

Aww i had this game, i threw it away before i joined WG cause i thought it was poo, but i hear multi-player is much better, might re-buy it, or find it see if it missed the bin lol!
