What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” ~Albert Pine I find the quote appropriate. As most of you have probably figured out, I've been planning on enlisting in the US military. That dream is finally a reality. I swore in to the Oklahoma National Guard just the other day. My oath of enlistment read as follows: "I, Matthew Lane Bradley, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the State of Oklahoma against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the Governor of Oklahoma and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to law and regulations. So help me God." I've gotta get my ass in shape majorly, and with my monthly drills, college classes and exams, visiting family, and hanging out with friends, I have simply run out of hours in the day. I'll still be on the forums and IRC as often as possible. I am NOT requesting Emeritus, as I feel the rank is a privilege not a right, and I have been inactive since I rejoined the clan months ago. I'll leave it up to the council and Elias to decide if I should get Ex-member or Emeritus, but personally, I feel I do not deserve it. -------------------- Born at sea, baptized in blood your fame will never die. Can do. As for Emeritus, maybe back in the day when I actually DID shit, but I mean christ, look at my events total, -7.
