In the worst case scenario you will need a new hard drive, without knowing the exact error code, no one can really help you. All I can say is when my old computer did that, the hard drive and the motherboard were bad.

Right-click "My Computer" then go to properties.

On 98/ME/XP a box will pop up, and it will show how much RAM you have.
On Vista, a window will pop up and there is an area that shows how much Memory (RAM) you have.

So how much RAM do you have? It also seems likely that, if this is a new problem to you, one of your sticks of RAM may have come loose.

Sonix Virtual memory is completely different than ram. It's is also different that having like 80 GB of memory. The reason you get this is you just have to many programs running for your computer. Even if you only have like 3 running. You can either buy more virtual memory (which is a pain, and expensive for what you get). Or you can get a new computer, i'd suggest to computer.

A new computer is way more expensive than a new hard drive, which could indeed fix the problem if it has been corrupted.

You can't buy virtual memory, it's just space allocated for swapping files on a hard drive.

Something is eating up your memory. And you say it is usually associated with swiftkit...Try re-installing swiftkit or check for viruses. I think you have a memory leak issue with swiftkit or there's a virus that's just mindlessly filling up all of your memory with crap.

It's hardly needed... It would have been cheaper to have the hard drive and the motherboard checked.
