Netbooks are very low power machines that are basically the bare minimum specifications to keep a PC running and do minimal things such as word processing. You probably would be able to any one of those things alone but I wouldn't rely on a netbook to multitask. There are many decent laptops that will handle those things simultaneously that are in the $500-700 range. I HIGHLY recommend Dell. They've got great computers and great prices to go with them. They've got sales going on all the time (I constantly get e-mails from them so I know this). Acer is also a pretty cheap brand (in terms of price, not quality). --------------------   | ||
