It's been while since I've actually had enough time to sit down and write a full fledged topic like this, and that alone makes what I'm doing even more difficult. First of all, just to toss it out there within the first few lines...I am requesting Ex-Member. Here come the questions, maybe? I'll try to explain in the shortest way I can. I have been a Guardian since early 2005. Within this group of people, I formed my second family. I grew with you...I learned with you, I fought with you, as all families do. Without the people in this Guild, without Elias and his beautiful idea of such a Clan...I could not truly say I would be the same. Although I have not been able to reply to many Important Announcement topics, I have been able to read them, and one in particular cut me to the core. It was of course, "You mean to say..." It has become clear to my once groggy eyes that I have not truly been a Member of the Wilderness Guardians since my abrupt disappearance a few months after I was elected into Council. This was more than a year ago. I am sad to admit that I simply feel as though I don't belong here any longer. Emertius is a Rank that should be given to the most important inactive Members of WG's current history. Not foolish old ones like myself. I believe I had once earned it, and I wore the title proudly...Now, however, it just feels like a sham. Most of all, I do not want to continue letting you all down by not being able to show up to Events, Wars, or even more important, the Anniversary of this great clan itself. I don't know what more I can say about this. I love you guys, and gals...This will always be my home, but I cannot keep bringing you down myself. So this is my final good-bye, as a true Member of the Wilderness Guardians. And since it seems to be all the rage these days... Only one shout out, to the person who helped me the most in building myself up to what I am now. Pandaman, Elias, Lordy, His_Egoship...Whatever you call yourself now. I can never thank you enough. Thank you for everything you have done for the me, and for all the others that have been here, and for those who have yet to come! Take care of things... won't you? Take care of the family. And yeah, I did skip straight from Member to Mod...Lol, that was interesting... James. You definately deserve emeritus. You're no sham. Can't you see that everyone here is glad to have you around? We remember what you did, and we understand why you can't be around that often. Its really your choice though. I see where you're getting at, but you're being too self-critical. You SHOULD be here. It's kind of difficult, knowing what it is you are talking about but you're not a sham. Probably the ones who needs to be more self-critical is not you. Someday, we'll have to follow the same footsteps like this, when that day appropriately comes. Props to alot of what Mango said. And I still hold the same awe about your past works here, it had not changed. You're not forgotten. For deserving, if there needs to be less than 10 or even 5 or 3, you're in it imo.
