There a few MAJOR things I need to point out pertaining to raid etiquette. 1. When we come across a cluster of clans/teams/people, DON'T JUST RUN INTO THE MIDDLE OF IT. This happened several times, and every time we had to call a regroup because everyone was attacking someone different and nobody knew where the hell the pile was and everybody was just dicking around. Basically, you shouldn't do ANYTHING until the raid leader tells you to, or gives you permission to. You are not a one man army. We are a team. 2. We need to either use a random CC or a private CC in which random people can't enter it whenever they please. Random scouts were entering our CC and getting our world until we got jumped by some clan. We got routed and it was a giant mess. 3. When I was been piled by said clan at greaters, someone in TS was telling me to run to single and/or log out. I am not going to name anyone in particular. I can't even begin to explain what's wrong with this statement, but I'll try anyways. WG is a clan that promotes HONOR in the clan world. We do not run to single, we do not log out, we do not drop our armor when we are about to die. We either fight and win, or we die with honor. Too many people in TS and IRC said "LOL I DROPPED MY ARMOR" or "JUST RUN TO SINGLE". Pathetic. 4. A few times during the battle, people in TS started saying "Oh, there's too many of them, just run away. Regroup somewhere." WAY TO FUCKING SUPPORT YOUR CLAN. INSTEAD OF FIGHTING, YOU ARE SITTING THERE BITCHING AND WHINING LIKE AN 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL. There weren't even that many of them. We had about the same amount of opts. They may have had a few more people, but their levels and organization were shit. What a bunch of pansies. "Oh help, we found a clan roughly the same strength as us, what ever will we do?" How about...shut your fucking trap and kill them? Is this what WG has been reduced to? It is truly a sad day when I even have to make a post like this. I weep for the future of this clan. /rant EDIT: I did some research and found that the clan we encountered is called "Kurimao Clan Rulers". They have 38 members with a 113 average. If were told to go to single, why not just do it? Since when did running to single when your outnumbered become nh? It's not like it was a set up pkri or a war. So I don't see why people are bitching when your told to run south. I don't mind losing armour but tbh.. hows some random ass clan who outnumbers us and downus all for our shit going to prove honour lol? All it's proving is that we got our ass handed to us and lost pixels for something no one will even bother to read about on rsc if a topic was even made. Honor is one thing... making stupid decisions to stay and get your ass kicked is a whole different story. With that out of the way... I also agree if your going to die, then don't drop your shit and just die. I had atleast 3 people on my friends list and there were many in irc who even when they new we were in trouble didnt bother to even ask if we needed help. I am going to stay and fight. A few exceptions being if we run into DF or Corr or some such clan. THAT CLAN WAS NO BETTER THAN WE ARE. You guys didn't even TRY to fight them, you just ran away. Yeah, I was hitting one of their rangers most of the time. Level 103 or something. No cape, just full green d'hide. I hit like constant 17s on him, he didn't even pray. They had far more people then us, and how we RAID is too unorganized to try and down a clan outside of CWA who has alot more. From what I seen, not many people ran. Yet we still got raped. I remember running up from the west tree... seeing a HUGE fall in pile south west of gds... then going inside of gds and they have yet again even more. Mainly organization is to blame in this fight. We could have made it into a good fight had we produced some proper piles and having an adequate amount of binders. But, as much as I hate to say it, our raid leaders were not on the ball today. The fault does not rest solely on their shoulders though. People were just running around randomly, not even attacking anyone. And I am going to have to disagree. They did not have as many people as you make it out to be. They had 25 at the most. All in all the CC should of been switched when we found the noob following us through like 3-4 worlds. Ignoring it got us piled on login. There are numerous times when you see a clan and you're like "OH CRAP LOTS OF WHITE DOTS LETS RUNN WE'LL LOSE" PKRI's were never based on starting options, it's all about organization. One thing though, at your third point: Of course, never ever log or run away when we're fighting a clan, but if there is a no bounds rule, it's not NH to go to single while tanking, provided that you come back to the fight or restock and return. Yeah, the thing I was going for here was that...if I ran to single, they would just get off me and attack someone else. But if I tank the hell out of them, that gives my clan a chance to regroup and get on someone. It doesn't work if everyone just runs to single when they are piled. So that's what I did. Theres plenty of places hug at greaters. JHust survive as long as you can and hope the rest of the clan can pull off some major KO's. I did point it out and suggest that. I personally feel everyone wasnt doing there best today, i'd woke up about 20 mins before we ran into the clan in world 21 so my brain wasn't working as fast as it should have been. I did try and call a pile and i did try and get a regroup. But no1 seemed to notice and just seemed to carry on with what they were doing. I believe that we shouldn't have logged or run to single, although they weren't that much bigger than us we should have beaten them down easily if some organization on our part was taken care of. I think because we saw people dying more than them dying is why we were caleld back to single. It's not always no honour to run back there and regroup because it means we wouldn't have people attacking us while we regrouped. I was clueless on what to do and I had nothing to do but to run away because I lost track of where everyone was. Location, who we are piling, when we are piling, and all of the information is needed even more in the wilderness because there are just more areas to go. If people have a problem knowing where things are, maybe there should be an event or two that someone experienced in the wilderness takes everyone out and explains to them certain points in the wilderness like GDZ or Hillz. Give us the names of the places and the common uses of the places. --------------------      | ||||||
