It's part of the Passport Studio line before it was updated to USB/FW800. My version is USB/FW400. I also just ordered one of the new MBP's which only support FW800 (that's the only FW port on the machine). I've read that the two are compatible (so long as I've got a cable and such). Is this true? If I get a converter to go from my FW400->FW800 will it still transmit the data? Obviously if it does work it'd be transmitting at the FW400 speed not FW800, but I'm just unsure. Anyone know about this? -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

GOOGLE SEARCH TIME! If it's not, just get yourself a new enclosure. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |
