As long as it still works and you think it still works you can get an external enclosure for it and use it as an external hard drive. If you do that, you can use this nifty Linux based live CD that's called GParted (Gnome Partition Editor). It's amazing for moving partitions, resizing and its FREE. I've used it many times and it works great.
