The person who gave it to him wasn't a member of WG but a random high leveled player. Today another random high level player tried to do the same thing to another guest on the forums with a new website after we got the previous one removed. I've dealt with that person and they won't be doing it again but I doubt he was working alone. He was alone in His Lordship's CC when I logged on to check, in a position to easily target new members who would be unaware. It is important now that when you are on Runescape and not LS'ing or at someone's event that you are in His Lordship's CC. If you're in there they can't get to new members that way. --------------------  | ||

It was very good thing I was in there the day we were told about the web site. I was able to get Abs from IRC to come on and chat to the person. I get alot of people that pop in and ask me 3 or 4 questions then they leave. Mostly looking for pvp war clans and stuff. If I don't know the answers I drag someone in to answer the questions. Zemus, Mike and Joe are pretty good for that. Thanks guys. I am new and recently found out about his lordships chat. I am connected when possible when on RS. Someone entering the chat, myself, in particular, would not know who is WG and who is not. If I had encountered the false website, I probably would have asked Joe about it because it seems to me that RS bars the advertisement of other web sites, but someone logging might just assume that it is an extension of WG. Is there a way to get a warning in there or is it a self policing type to thing? -------------------- | ||
