I'm not blaming anyone here, but its something I want to bring up because its absolutely essential.

I could go into a anecdote here, but I'll only mention it briefly. One time over a year ago, we had a spontaneous PK trip/training and when we were out, we discovered someone was celebrating a level at the same time. I was a raid leader at the time, not the one who organised the trip but in a position of responsibility.

While we were in the wilderness, people were massing for this celebration. The clan was split, and people had to decide which of the events to go to. Cut short, this let to the person feeling slightly bad he didn't have the support he wanted, and one person (who i respected at the time) got pretty annoyed about it, understandably. The tool (he was a tool a lot of the time) who organised the trip did nothing about it, but i took responsibility.

Anyway, for that reason, I'm saying this now. I'm sure its happened before but we have a clash:

War practice: http://www.wildernessguardians.com/forum/i...?showtopic=8600
Groe's 99 range: http://www.wildernessguardians.com/forum/i...?showtopic=8385

Even if the war practice was 30 minutes later, there would be no problem.

Its so important to check the time is clear before arranging an event, however important it is, from a major war to a cabbage picking event. Can save so much more complication later - clashes can be a very bad sign.

Just had to get that out there, concerns anyone in the position to make events. Its all too easy to chose a time and think nothing of it.

Yeah I noticed this this morning and Groe and I spent a long time this morning working out what to do.
He can't have it earlier because many of his friends wont log on until the time they thought it was (8pm GMT) and he can't have it later (after the practice) because of Winddancir's 99 herblore..

So really everything should be pushed back 30 mins, so have Groe's 99 range at 8pm, then at 8.30 the war practice and after that Winddancir's 99 Herby.

The earliest made event always gets preference, except anniversary events and wars which go over everything.

Thanks Muggers for cancelling your war practice. I was glad to make it to see Andrew's and Tab's 99s.

Omar, I love to celebrate 99's and you'd be surprised how many I kept pics of. If it is important enough for one of my friends to invite me to lvl 50, I still go. lol

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”
