Upon returning to WG I was rather shocked at finding you guys don't have a clue when it comes to being efficient, even in F2P PVP. Familiars should be mandatory, just like rune and food, to all F2P PKs and Run ins. This short guide will explain it's advantages and how to utilize using familiars in F2P to the best advantage.

Uses
You can use your familiar to restock/replenish your:-
  • Food
  • Prayer
  • Arrows
  • Runes
  • Energy

Explanation

When you hop to F2P with a familiar holding items summoned, your familiar *hibernates* and will re-appear with the items it was holding once you log back into P2P. Obviously, the advantage of this during PKs and Runins is all you have to do is hop worlds quickly to restock your character. In some cases this can even save you a death or lengthy trip to the bank after being sniped to no food.

A spirit terrorbird will be most peoples familiar of choice. It holds 12 items and the scroll will restore your run energy. Higher level players might wish to sacrifice the special attack in order to utilize the 18 or 30 slots that the Turtle/Pack Yak are capable of holding.

I've kept it short and sweet for you simpletons. If you have any questions, post them.

I ran out of pizzas transferring 7 sara sets earlier tonight, so obviously replace swordfish with anchovy pizza and hybrids remember your binds. These are two rough examples.

FAQ
Q: If I die, will my familiar die and lose it's items?
A: No, even after death the items retained in your familiar will remain there when you log into P2P.

Q: Does my familiar timer go down while in F2P?
A: No.

Q: Why isn't Stokenut a PK leader?
A: Iunno, it's a politics thing.

OMG. You make way too much sense. That would so save me and many others from being out of food and not being able to bank fast.

Thanks Steve, this is such a great idea. If someone needs to bank loot and get food, instead of going to a bank they can just "bank" at their familiar in a p2p world tongue.gif

CR war isn't a run-in, this guide is mostly for pvp pkri's only.

Great guide though, never thought about doing that. hash.png
