That was epic fun :>
I personally didn't get to fight WG members but I still managed to get 3 FoG items charged thanks to you guys.
Most of us got +70-80 tokens while still enjoying ourselves. Thanks for coming guys.
I also have to compliment you for the notice in activity, we got 13 people to a community event with 5 hour of preparation ONLY which was an amazing change in my opinion.

What to bring?

Note: I am assuming you know the basics of Fist of Guthix, if you don't know the basics then PM me in IRC.

You are advised to bring the following:

Full rune armour and scimitar. Excluding the kiteshield

Rune 2h sword

Magic hat, top, leather chaps and leather vambs

Dragonhide body and chaps

Any staff, 200 adamant arrows and maple short bow

The game is based on countering your opponent's attack when you are being hunted, and countering your opponent's prayer and armour while hunting.

Here is what you do when you are being hunted:

Equip your dragonhide armour and magic hat, this is because most people use magic to defeat their prey.

If you are getting attacked by Melee or Range, equip your full rune

If you are being attacked by a hybrid, equip one style armour & pray the other style. Example: Magic and Range hybrid, put on your dragonhide armour and pray Range.

Make use of your hugging and dragging skills to gain the max amount of points before you die

Here is what you do when you are hunting:

Equip your Magic gear BUT with a maple short bow. This is because you will be hybriding Range and Magic.

Run to the middle, you should find your opponent. If this is not the case then check his spawn point and the outer areas while still checking the center every once in a while.

Counter your opponents armour and prayer by using a third style. Example: If he's praying melee while wearing dragonhide, range him. The staff that you brought should be used for auto-casts if he's camping. If he's running then bind him and range/melee him.

I understand that because of the short preperation, we may not get a large attendance, but please make an effort to attend this if you are online.

Helpful tip: you regenerate your run at about 4x the speed if you stand in the middle.

Short-prep, I know that I and some WG members don't have fully charged Fist of Guthix gear, so why not get the tokens while still enjoying ourselves?

Even if your gear is fully charged, please come. More tokens means faster gear recharge in the future
