That is something people wonder when they see a new thread in the leaving section and wondering if the person has a good reason to leave the clan that person actually loved and enjoyed being in. Personally, I have been in WG for like 4-5 months in total, if we count the months in 2006-2007 that I were in WG. I honestly enjoyed every bit, but sometimes you wonder if it is actually the right clan for you. You try your damn hardest to make things like Raids work and you personal message people on IRC, and the only thing you here from people is this:
This has happened to me every upcoming raid that I did this and the only thing I hear is: Shut up, we don't need that (even from officials). The only thing I am trying to do is help the clan and so we do NOT get slaughtered in the wilderness by having 10 people show up at a raid. The only thing I am trying to do is combine everyone and make them come to a raid because you simply MUST attend as that is stated in the RULES. I am sick of these people and I am sick of constantly getting yelled at for doing something that is not even bad. I am sorry for all the people that actually did appreciate it that I personal messaged them, so please do not get offended. People will know whom I am talking about. Thank you for the great times WG, you guys will still be my favourite and will surely end up being in the top #5 sooner or later. Peace out and keep your chins up!  -------------------- | ||||

I try hard to come to wars and events. I'm not much of a killer. Thou I'm not going to tell you to shut up either. I read most of the raid post and look at the drops people get from monsters and all that, but I just don't kill very well. If you would ask me to do something I felt comfortable with I'd go out of my way to do it. I don't know if you can understand, but WG is made up of sooo many unique personalities. Omar is like sooo cool. He trains all the time and encourages others and I can see where that might get old, but when he sees I actually did any combat he always encourages me. Over time I have greatly improved. It's hard to believe but it's true. Just give it a chance, even though we are all different we still share one thing . . . we all love the clan. I wish you the best in your decision.  IRC Nickname: Aardvark Group: Banned Posts: 759 Member No.: 322 Joined: March 13, 2008 Total Events Attended: 175 | Just saw all of this and read back in logs for #wg and from what I see she was only trying to get people to attend, and being a good WG member by helping alert the channel, I see others do this as well and they dont get the response that some of are members said to her, those comments were totally uncalled for.... Elize is a very nice person and would have been an outsatnding member in WG, One that actually attends raids and events etc instead of ignoring them like so many do. But instead she is insulted and disrespected and made to feel bad then she leaves, and Im appauled by some of you and the comments you made to her. One thing you must remember about our new members is they dont know you that well and coming off like that to someone in that way is and can be very hurtful, I dont blame her for parting the channel. Most members didn't even want to raid tonight because we had our hearts set on assisting TT in hunting VR+Allies as a result of this afternoons events. But that got nerfed with a usual walk-around-till-someone-kills-us raid. So some people were cranky and others were just being plain rude which resulted in them wrongly snapping at you. Give up once the cross the boundaries of flaming. Overall today was a pretty charged up day. But that isn't the only thing we should blame. Although what you did was just to help out Wg to do such things you'll need to be able to take some things. Most of the tertiares get negative responses back at them as well when they try to do things in the benefit of the clan. Sadly in Wg people who make an effort will always get some sort of negative response back at them. But the truly loyal ones are the people who continue making an effort and putting up with the negativity. Runescape is however a game and you should play a game for fun. It's not given to all of us to show the same dedication and if you're no longer have fun then considering the option to leave is completely understandable. --------------------  | ||||
