Tune is good, but i dont like the drum roll, doesnt seem to go. Sounds dramatic, and different. I really do like it.

I think the first couple of seconds before the trumpet sounds abit glitchy and off tone.

The trumpet part kind of takes me back to final fantasy made.
Overall i find it ever good and good for a boss fight kinda.

But for me its kind of like entering one of those smoggy caves back in the nintendo 64 RPG days.

There's a part on about 3:28-3:33 That sounds a bit off/ out of place.

It's a bit too calm at times to be considered a true boss battle theme. Atleast that is the way I feel about it. The start/ Last minute are definatly good mood setters for a boss battle theme.

Overall? It's befitting of runescape (obviously above the current level) and for a midi it's definatly good. However there are some points where instruments seem forced.

The drum roll is kind of at odds with the rest of it. Overall, I think the piece is a bit long for a boss fight, it's almost as if you have entering the lair, moving towards the boss, fighting boss, then at the very end like this random tra la la feel with an abrupt ending. I could be completely off because I rarely listen to music on RS though.

Silver's comments:

Nothing wrong with the tempo
the horn then music then horn
It's kind of stereotypical boss scene music tho

I think the drum roll fits cause it will loop around anyway.

Sometime after 3:00 sounds too peaceful. It added up when it came to 3:50 though.

I didnt like the ending that much. I was hoping something more dramatic was going to happen.

Otherwise it was really good piece. I really enjoyed the begining.

It's a good piece, but I think it does sound like a boss score. It's something you'd hear when you make to the final boss of a game like Final Fantasy.

There is a section in the first third of the score that sounds almost like a victory song, not sure if that's well placed.

Honestly, I think this would be better broken into separate scores. Each section is different from the rest of the score and I could easily see them as separate pieces of music.

Still good though.

Liked it a lot, very catchy.

^^

I really liked it, but the ending in my opinion could be much more dramatic and intense to finish off the sequence.

Great job though.

Very good Elias, but I am inclined to agree with the above.
The ending needs a bit of work , if possible, to make it a little more dramatic, but otherwise it is really good!

There were a couple parts that sounded kind of clustered together. I don't know it seemed like there were too many drums going off at one point. Good piece of course. And no, it doesn't sound too bossish more like some place where there's Elves tongue.gif, at least for the middle part and then get igets back into an intense beat.

It reminds me of like a SNES RPG where a city is under attack or something tongue.gif
