I believe they are one of the keys to having a decent (Without mass recruiting) amount of members. Here's what I feel are the pro's of bringing them back:
Cons: Just one: There is almost no recognition in this rank, which may discourage people. What do you think? All the last ones resigned because they fellt useless & disrespected. I think the council is doing a great Job atm, and if they need help with this, they could bring back the App managers. But with only 1-2 apps a day, I don't think is really necessairy. And about the recruiting on RSC, that's something every Guardian can do. Personally because I was the one that suggested the idea of Application Managers & Implemented it, back when I was Council. Ironic enough, I was also the one that suggested we get rid of it. Because of many things really: -Council is a package: Sorting out fights, knowing what to post, when to post, being decisive, being precise. Always calm & reserved. Dealing with Applications is also part of that package. If you hand just one part of that package to someone, without the rest, they will be inexperienced & will do less of a job than someone with Council. Since dealing with Applications is actually deciding who you want in your clan, and who you don't, it's actually very important to have all the information in Level Four before you accept that person. For example, as the thing with Type Z Z Z, there was some relation with TBE. TBE didn't want Type to get accepted into our clan, but Zlatan (App Manager) didn't know that, so he accepted Type. Then we had to deal with a LOT of stuff with Tbe, going back & forth on whether he should be kicked, now that he's accepted, we can't kick him etc. etc. It was a big misunderstanding because Application Managers aren't as well informed as Council would be. Only Council would properly know how to accept & decline applications, because they are the leaders. It's like saying I could mark Test/Exam Papers, I'm not qualified in it, I'm not an Examiner, but as long as I have the Mark Scheme, I'm fine right? What do I care about whether Density = Mass/Volume, if it's right, it's right, if it's wrong, it's wrong. Would be my worry as well but Mike is correct in his saying we could do with a few app managers for recruitment etc and to lighten the load on other leaders, and if app managers are brought back and not show, and I have to agree with Abs here, hes made some very valid points, if app managers cant see certain things and make decisions on thier own so to speak then no need for the posistion. --------------------    | ||

This is the way in which they have caught so many spies recently because they have been able to do it all themselves and stuff.
