What is happening?
There's so much shit going on in WG's community.

1. Council Distrust
They are your leaders. You DID vote them in (no rigging involved). And yet you have such little faith in them. Are you forgetting they honestly are working for your benefit? There's no need to abuse them. If you think they are abusing you, think again. I have read certain bits of evidence and I'm going to say (Gary), that Randy was only sticking up for himself and his pride. He's a great leader. And by the way (Rick and Rachel), Mugger is anything BUT over-biased. He brings every issue to the council from as neutral a view as possible to start with, and he really does consult people before making decisions. Just what te fuck. These are the people who work their asses off for you. Give them some bloody respect.

2. Being Stuck-up
Similar to the first point. I'm seeing it all the time. Whining and wanting your way. Drink a cup of cement and harden up. If the council makes a decision, by all means disagree, but at least offer an alternative. Don't just diss them. Every council decision is based on long discussions. (Level 4 is the busiest security forum). We value your opinions, but right now we're getting the impression that ther members are being full of themselves and thinking they know better than the leaders. It is SO insulting to go through a topic full of posts where the members feel like they are the shit, and can't put a bit of faith in the council's policies. Complain less.

3. Laziness
Coming up with excuses is an epidemic now. It has become commonplace for members to expire a list of excuses before conceding to obey. In recruit-a-friend week, how many people recruited a friend? Most people are not ggetting involved. They will attend the events they want to go to, at their own convienience, and not give anything back to WG. This is more than half of WG, by the way. MUCH more than half. Missing wars, events, policies (like recruit-a-friend week) and sitting in the IRC in a half coma, talking when they feel like... How exactly are you giving to WG? By chatting, and only going to events that you fancy? You have to give more. I am demanding it. There are some members who give a lot, like Robertw56, DZ, Stokenut, Sith, Gorge, to name a few, but more than half just can't put in the effort that is required of them.

EVEN WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING IN OPTIMUM EFFORT, it is a fraction of what other clans ask for. WG is the laziest clan in Runescape. I have no doubt about this. If you are dragging your ass, you are letting the clan down. You will be spoken to in private. You have to lift yor game and coe to the raids and wars and events. This culture can't keep going. It is SO cunty of you to leave the hard work to everyone else.

4. Inactivity
The same story.Improving, but much too slowly. We're weeding out inatives fairly efficiaently now, but I'd much rather you get active before we have to kick or demote you.

I really hope this topic will be an eye-opener.

The events that went on regarding the council elections were horrible, I have no idea why they started in the first place or why people kept them going. I have never seen anything like that in any previous council election and was pretty disappointed to see council receive that kind of treatment. Until you have been there you have no idea how much work council members put into this clan and to see your members disagreeing or bashing you makes you feel so shitty its unbelievable.

A clan cannot succeed if it's members don't put proper effort into it. We have everything set in place we need to become great(er than we already are) we just all need to be the best we can be to allow us to gain that greatness. I'm going to give a personal example here, I really dislike most skilling events and I'm not saying I go to every single one, but at times when I would much rather be doing something in-game that I enjoy, I will still go to the events I don't like for the greater good of the clan. We all need to realize that not everything that happens in WG will be something we like but should put up with it in order for the clan to succeed. Morale is just so much higher when we get a good showing to an event, regardless of what it is.

If we all do our best we will succeed. It's been like this for a while now but we never seem to be able to grasp it. Perhaps the time is now.

Alright i dont know why my window closed last time but w.e.

I agree with it all iv seen. Tbh i dont know what to say atm. For the sake of the clan and the staff everyone just needs to take a break gain its trust again.

Atm i think half the clan is moving at a differnt speed then the other. We need to regroup and move together because 50/50 we aren't going to get anywhere.

As for the activity part, Uno people just need to prioritize and get free when events are planned weeks ahead

I actually think WG is improving and heading in the right direction. Except for all this council bullshit going on of course. That aside, we are definitely doing better in terms of overall activity, etc...

But yeah. I actually recruited my friend IRL. I just gotta get him to post his intro ffs. He's such a lazy ass. Lol

Btw, did you get Rachel's(and mine, lulz) money that I sent you?

I believe the councils, i would rather leave the clan as distrust them, they are the head of the clan.

Am i really stup-up ? ....

And activity ? Honestly, i try really attend every event i cant even though i sometime fail tongue.gif I never attend the event just because of free attendance point, but because of doing something together with friends.
I really have no idea how to persuade other guardians to attend events, Lordy + councils & few other memebers have tried everything possible and also impossible to improve attendace, so i think there is nothing left.
In my opinoin inactivity is just because most of us are no more kids, who are sitting all the days at computers.

I know I have acted arrogant in the past.

Please do not only point the fingers at Members (althought I do agree this is a large part of the problem) but have a look at the leadership team as well (Yourself, council and tertiaries).

I have also sent you a pm regarding this issue.

I'm going to stick with Randy through it all.
I know hi well and he'd have a bloody good reason to do that.
Plus, a bit of tolerance on your part would be appreciated.
His job is really stressful and you should put up with one or two snaps.
He's a good person and there is no conceivable way for him to abuse you weithout reason.

I have pretty much no friends added in RS that are not WG, he ones i do are already in a clan or are not interesred in clans as i have akready asked them.

I attend nearly every event i am online for, i missed 2 yesterday with good reason, 1 i couldnt do tears of guthix because i did it on friday without thinking, 2 i didnt attend the AC as i was training defence, and our war if far more important than acing another war.

Im active nearly 24/7, i cant get much more active.

I do have faith in the council, however i dont feel it was necissary (cant spell tbh) that some of them should sneakily try hint at who they wanted in order to get people to vote for them. Other than that tiny floor i dont see fault with the council

That's my main problem. 90% of my friends list is already WG, and the few friends that are not WG, they're all under 100 combat, and play Runescape just for fun and wouldn't find interest in the clan.

I honestly try to be as active as possible..I'm usually at every event if I'm online. neko2.gif
