Having an active Guest Forum is really vital to our recruitment, people by nature would consider joining a clan they know people in most of the time, having an active forum helps the outer clan world to get to know members in the clan, improve our reputation, and give us an active place to post in. Well, typing all that above won't help without saying how we can actually improve this  , so I came up with a little long term plan:1) Make use of your RSC Signature. It can help more than you think, I for example got over 1k profile views in RSC, mainly from adding 'Drop me a comment! Click to view my profile!' on my signature. What you do is simple, link to our forums in your signature and say something along the lines of: "Come visit our website! Feel free to join us or make a guest account and get to know us :-)" Advertise our clan website inviting people to visit us and post around  2) Add a new public board called: "Clan Discussion & Fights", this has been suggested by someone in our forums before, sorry I can't remember who :$ Anyways, this was made by clans such as EH, and it really made their forums a lot more active. It'll just be our little mini RSC Clan Discussion forum. We can post our PvP and Warring recaps there, and other clans can post too. Not to mention they can post some discussions about clanning in general. 3) Do you have a clan in your mind that you like? Some people like EH, Some like DF, Others like Exercitum Militus of Honorum. Well just register in their forums, apply the first step in your signature and remain active there. This not only would give us even extra publicity, but also improved relations with that clan! You have no idea what one or two people can do to a clan's relationship with each other. One big example is Zlat and Chrisyabsley, they both went to exer, because of being ex-WG they invited us to some Exer events and also organized one or two pk's with us. This was the stepping stone to our current friendly relations with Exer. 4) Public events week or day or whatever! Clans such as The Gladiatorz do this often, they'd post events on RSC then link to their forums for further information. What we do is very simple, we organize a planned public events week or day or whatever and post it on RSC. The vital step is that we give them just a summary of what we're doing, and tell them to view our forums for further information and maybe even post signups of them coming or not I realize our rep in RSC isn't the best, but it's helluva lot better now. We used to get 'Nothing left@@@' or whatever crap spam in our topics by clans. Now we rarely get this, this is just an indicator that our reputation DID improve over the past months. 5) Reduce the requirements for a guest account, I was told it's 80 combat? Well make it perhaps 40 or 50? They can post around and be future members! WG has several members who viewed our forums at low combat levels and it got them to train just to join us, some of them can even testify to this (Please do )6) More karaoke or even prank call public events! Anyone remember the one we did one or two months ago? That was just epic and we got 40 members or so on our TS with such a short prep. Imagine if we gave it like 5-6 hour prep, it'd be epic. Now the trick is that while doing all of that, we once in a while say in our TS "Register in our forums and post around, even if you're not joining". It does help out a little, also gives us more reputation 7) Ask our shy allies  to come visit our forums and get an allied account, actually I'll do that myself now 8) Probably been said multiple times before, but it's also up to us to liven up our forums by posting around a lil more, spam even if neccessary. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So let's do this really, it'll help us out. It's mostly individual work but in the long run that individual work but it really helps out. Remember, public activity = more future members - better reputation - more friendliness towards us - better relationship with clans. If you have any comments on anything, please say! I was thinking about making a version where WG posts there war recaps for guest to view (only ones we win though). Also, we've already discussed have clan world events.
