I use this spot actually. Here is my personal set-up:

- Helm of Nietznot
- Salve(e)
- Legends (Best to use Skill Cape(t) or Firecape, depends on if you use prayer)
- Saradomin Sword (or Abyssal Whip and DFS/Obsidian Shield)
- Fighter Torso
- Verac's Skirt
- 'Barrows' Gloves
- Dragon Boots
- Ring of Life

In my inventory I have:
- Eight Pure Sets (Super Attack and Super Strength)
- Four Bunyip Pouches
- 2 Super Restores/Summoning Potions (to summon other Bunyips)
- Teleport

I use Piety occasionally if I remember to go back up to the alter and recharge my Prayer.

Very good experience at this place.

By Jayson on 01/01/2009
verac skirt is a waste of money, because you have to fix it. and you should keep on piety to get most xp p/hr

and i'd prefer a shield and whip than ss, ss is pretty much same as whip except for prayer bonus.

if you wanted prayer bonus, take whip and god book.

By David on 01/01/2009
Saradomin Sword for strength training is what I was referring to.

Also, my set-up is mostly for AFK purposes. I use the V-skirt because it provides defense and a prayer bonus.

Plus, with the money you get from training you'll easily be able to repair it and still make a profit. Seeing as how you make 700k an hour, that's 10.5M before the skirt fully degrades.

I prefer my set-up simply because I can read my book while I train. I have an alarm set to go off every 5 minutes so I know when to re-pot. I check back every few minutes to grab whatever is on the floor at the time and then ifI'm by the stairs recharge my Prayer.

By Back to Own on 23/02/2009
You can substitute guthans for bunyip

This also works well with clay, and works relatively well with range too

By Planolocal on 23/02/2009

By Billy on 24/02/2009

By Jayson on 24/02/2009
they hit abit, but bunyip heals you before you lose hp, like @ bandits

By rachellove9 on 01/05/2009
I am going to try this

Thanks

By Fingolduin on 02/05/2009
Yup, great place to train. I got 99 attack in a few weeks there. They drop alot of blue charms as well, which can help in summoning training.
