The Craft of War: Blind

Earlier this year I got pretty bored and decided to do something creative in my spare time. I've been wanting to do a fight scene for a while and decided to develop a story using World of Warcraft. Animation is what I do and I decided to use my skills in making something.

This is only the second personal creative work I've ever posted so I'm a bit nervous about it. The first being an image I painted years ago which...um... we don't talk about. smile.gif It's a bit nerve-wracking to post creative work for others to judge.

I've thought about making this a series but I'm faced with an impending layoff so my future is unclear. If I get a positive reaction I'm sure I'll be working on something else in the future.

So just to get this stright, this was not created by me, it was developed, edited, and produced by Percula

I don't believe this video is limited to people who are interested in World of Warcraft. It can be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone who's a fan of animation.

I can honestly say I don't like WoW.. but that video is amazing. I love the ending to it-it seems like one of those scenes where the scars they gave each other will form a sort of bond between them. Great skills with that guy ohmy.gif

That was really cool! World od warcraft does have awesome graphics which do reel me in, but eh. Never!

Good video, i tip my hat to the person who did it.

How did they do it tbh? They definitely didn't just record ingame occurrences because that'd be impossible.

He took the animation skeletons and models already in place and animated them on his own. It's not too hard if you know how to do it, just takes time.

he used some program to help him, they do it a lot with Counter Strike Source Movies when they do the intro and whatnot.

p.s- AMAZING MOVIE and Soundtrack.

EDIT-Just realized why the Title is called Blind, amazing lore right there.

I haven't gotten anywhere close to Onxia yet, but thats still crazy.
