Today's Miniwar.
By Abmanju on 12/03/2008
Alright, this topic isn't too much for an Announcment, just a little note on why we didn't do so well:
-Zach Dc'd right before the Miniwar, Zach has great influence on the victory of this Miniwar because he had a plan to go along with the rangers and stuff, and CR pressured us time-wise so we couldn't get the Tactics out really well and along with appointing a new leader with Tactics for the Miniwar, we had about 5minutes from the walk from Bh Bank to Clan Wars to decide what was going on, Heck we even made up who was attacking and defending in RS, due to lack of communication.
-It's everyone's fault, it isn't one person's fault alone, everyone did a joint effort that made us be defeated. You could see how well and organised CR was as they were literally waiting for us to arrive.
-We had failed communications on Teamspeak, you HAVE to listen to the Leaders, from now on, when we go into Miniwars, the Channel will be moderated, which is what we've done before; leaders will give out voice to those needed.
-Don't be disappointed, KEEP ATTENDING Miniwars/Practices/Wars. Attend those Practices; it's important to stay calm, alert and aware of what you're doing in a miniwar. If you feel you are getting ko'ed too much and yet you try your best, Train your Combat/Defence. If you feel you run out energy too fast, train your Agility, if you feel you run out of prayer too fast, train your prayer. Fix those things that is limiting you from being more effective.
-That event isn't that great to new members and people who are coming back, such as Chrisyabsley, Rob, General, and others; We need to show our true selves and how well we perform, like that Fullout War. We need to perform like that every war. This event was probably a stroke of badluck when Zach Dc'd >.>.
-Don't quit now, We'll improve, we just need your commitment, Listening to Leaders is most important.
-This is just another hurdle we have to overcome, making mistakes is good, it means we'll fix them, get better, and achieve our goals.

Good post, can't really say much except, let's get some practice in and do a bit better next time.

Keep your heads up.

Okay, first of all. Well put Abs.
Secondly, i want to say that random people shouldn't be calling random piles. I saw too many people, majority lower levels(no offense). Everyone should be on TeamSpeak, and should listen to the orders of leaders such as Abs/Stoke/Snow. Also, we had tooooooooooo many people not staying on the main pile. If we kill anyone, fall in on a leader and wait for them to call out.
If you are hybriding, make sure you are using the equipment! We had atleast 15 hybrids, or atleast people with the right gear, and not use it.
There's still so much to say, i'll just leave it at that...

I am going to list a few things that NEED to be fixed if you guys ever want to win another war.
1. Don't stand around. - Kinda self-explanatory. If you find yourself out in the open, listen to teamspeak to try and find the pile. If that fails, at least attack one of their binders or something. Don't just stand there. It's like shouting "Come KO me! I'm not paying attention!"
2. Listen to the leaders/teamspeak. - Seriously, I get so mad when people don't follow orders. We have leaders that issue orders for a reason. Just do what they say.
3. Prayer. - I thought this one was obvious, but apparently not. I STILL see people getting KOed without even putting on prayer. That is simply unacceptable.
4. Binding. - When the leader tells EVERYONE to hybrid, that doesn't mean 'hope someone else does it and nobody notices you not doing it'. Everyone should be hybriding. In this war, we had maybe 4 binders, 3 rangers, and the rest just meleeing. Lame-sauce.
5. Don't create your own pile. - Easy. Listen for the designated pile from a leader. That's it.
6. Sniping. - Snipers are designated before the war and we only need a few. Too many leads to a loss. Example: the war we just fought. Half of the fucking clan was sniping(or attempting to anyway).
I might add more as I think of them.

Sorry I had to leave right before, real life issue.

It happens guys. We're a growing clan. Everyone will learn how to fight quickly. Stick in there!

There were some people sniping, who weren't told to snipe before the war. Throughout the war only 1/3 of us were on the main pile. The other 2/3? Attacking different random people, or just standing there like statues.
Teamspeak piles were clear, the problem wasn't with calling piles; it was with people not sticking to the main pile, attacking random people when they're not snipers.
Snipers were known before the war on Teamspeak, Rob and Groedius.

Like even though I wasn't there.
Two things I notice.
1. Wg are scared binders. Tons of ppl bring the hybrid gear, but only a few use it.
2. Idiots. To put it frankly a lot of ppl stand around. Get on the main pile!!!

I wasn't there so I don't know what happened, but we will improve. Don't let this get us down, we have one mess up, that's not bad. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone has off days. That was ours I guess.
