What are raids?
Most other clans know them as PK trips. We call them raids because initially, under our old antiRPKing rules, we would "raid" the wilderness, looking for wrongdoers. While our beliefs have changed, we still call them raids. Raids are PK trips in PvP worlds, either members or free. They change each week. They comprise the main part of WG's weekly fighting and combat.
How many raids are there
There are two types of raids. Normal raids and megaraids. We have one megaraid each week, and two normal raids.
The megaraid is the most important raid of the week. That raid is compulsory attendance. You can only miss it if you have IRL obligations. The normal raids are not compulsory, but if you can make it, it is strongly advised you do.
There *might* be spur of the moment raids as well, sometimes with allies, sometimes without.
How many raids should I attend?
The big raid to attend is the megaraid. You MUST sign up for this raid every week in the war forum. The time for it changes, but you must always notify the clan if you can or can't make it well in advance. If you don't sign up, you are at risk of being kicked.
The activity requirement for the megaraids is this: If you miss three megaraids in a row you will either be demoted (if in a higher rank) or kicked (if in a lower rank) at the leaders' discretion. In some cases, where inactivity topics have been made, or you are in extremely troublesome circumstances and have informed us previously, we may be able to extend the grace period slightly, but we take attendance at megaraids very seriously.
As for other raids, if you are online, you should go. If you're on, and you refuse to raid - that is within your right. You can say no, but be warned - people really hate it. It's courtesy to go if you are on, and rude to just bluntly say no. If we are in a PKRI, you pretty much HAVE to come if you are on. If you don't people get really angry. You can't get kicked from the clan, but it does grind at the leaders' and members' nerves.
Of course, the normal raids are low priority. Attend the megaraid, and aim for one other raid. If you can't attend two raids a week, then at least the megaraid.
What are the raid times?
The raids are always at the same time each week.
We have one raid aimed at each timezone.
Because there are three, you have plenty of chances to attend.
If you can't attend any of them, you're probably too busy for clan life... not just in WG but in most top clans. This is not meant as a threat, but you need to decide whether your life allows you to participate in clan life. It's your call. Best for you to leave rather than get kicked for inactivity.
The American Raid
If you have daylight savings, the raid is an hour later than specified
East Coast USA - 8pm Saturday
West Coast USA - 5pm Saturday
GMT - 1am Sunday
Eastern Australia - 11am Sunday
The Australian Raid
If you have daylight savings, the raid is an hour later than specified
Eastern Australia - 8pm Sunday
Western Australia - 6pm Sunday
GMT - 10am Sunday
East Coast USA - 5am Sunday
The European Raid
If you have daylight savings, the raid is an hour later than specified
GMT - 7pm Sunday
East Coast USA - 3pm Sunday
West Coast USA - 12pm Sunday
Eastern Australia - 6am Monday
New times will be found for Europeans.

Each week, ONE of the above three raids becomes the megaraid. It could be any one, depending on the decision of the raid leaders. Every timezone will get a shot, that's for sure, even the Aussies.
I repeat, the megaraid will occur at the time of one of those three raids
Which one it is, will be decided on each week by the raid leaders.
Also, some weeks, there will be a break, with no megaraids.

I can auto make American and GMT raids. 3 AM for aussie raids... I'll make like 33% for aussie raids if I stay up til 3 AM. I can't lead on those, however, due to the time.

I should be able to make the Aussie Sunday raid so long as my internet remains stable, and the US raid is also a possibility for me so long as I wake up.
European raid is an absolute no for me because of school.

So this means I have to attend one, either a megaraid or war in the three weeks time. Not that I have to attend one of each?
If you are so aggressively going to be doing wars and megaraids and pkri, why don't you just bring back the sectors or have a special application for exclusion from this type of stuff? It just seems like a lot of killing to me.

Oh come on, why not change the times weekly by one-two hours? Spy precaution TBH. Any guy who leaves WG with bad intentions could just leak these times to other clans, just keep those times but change them weekly by adding/taking one or two hours.
Don't get me wrong, good update, but I think we should add what I mentioned to it.

Good times. Only one I'll have trouble with is aussie raids since it's I think 3 am for me, but if it's a megaraid I'll be sure to try and stay up if I can.

Why do I get the feeling it won't ever be the aussies that get the mega raid? xD
EDIT: probably won't ever be able to make aussie raids. school n stuff, but i can wake up early a few times a month I guess.

I would enjoy having the raid times to switch up every once and a while just to add variety sometimes. Other than that, I should be able to make at least 1 a week, maybe 2.

Oh great bitty raid times i cant make American I refuse to stay up till 1 am. Sunday 10 am for Aussie ill be at Church and Sunday 8 pm is kinda not a great time. So I will see what i can do but no promises

maybe, will be with friends and i wake up at like 3 (1 hour after raid starts)
will try my best tho. also during july 26-29 that weekend i will be at a bball tournament (will be last!) and july 4th weekend i will be on vacation so those two weekends are No's forsure
