Reconsidered

Well what can I say, I had a lovely time here, the community is absolutely amazing and I had a lot of good laughs during my short stay here.

However as of late I've been into PvP more than skilling and the amount of PvP WG does is just little to me, I mean no offence in that.

Plus multiple people tried to get better PvP in the clan, it just won't work with WG's current state because about 1/3 - 50% of the community aren't interested in PvP and the amount of pulls we get is kinda depressing to most events.

For this main reason (and one to two reasons which aren't so important that I'll keep to myself) I unfortunately will have to leave WG and join a PvP based clan. I've been thinking about this since mid December and have done lots of research to try and find a good clan for me.

First it was Eternal Honour,
Lots of good friends there who asked me to join
But I just wasn't interested in EH because they do a lot of dragged fights and rare spontaneous PK trips.

After that I thought about Rune Raiders....
and now look at where they are, slumping and inactive.

Then Dale asked me to come join him in Divine Forces...but I just didn't like all the planned fights.

After that I thought about Corruption...but few individuals joining them along with few RoT joining them made me change my mind.

Then I get an invite from few ex-TDM to come to SE, with me refusing because if I left for SE I'd have backstabbed the clan and all my time here would've been gone in a poof. They're great but I don't want to risk all the friendships I made for them.

So back to the start, I thought about The Rising
But some of their actions such as helping out VR and doing lots of 1 iteming made me change my mind again

Finally I'm down to one option, the first is the one I was going to join, which I'm not mentioning now, the second is Echo of Silence.

I've decided to join EoS after a friend convinced me to try it out there, my combat level and my bank worth allows me to participate in PvP often.

No, I'm not following Lee, as much as I love him I'm not , I've done lots of research to make sure its the right decision and feeling about it for 3 months, I guess it is

I never had the chance to meet you as well as I wanted to (mostly due to my inactivity) but back when I was looking at WG from the outside I could tell you were a really great person who wanted the best for this clan and the best for those in it. Once I rejoined I could instantly tell that I was right and that you really were passionate about the clan. You always have ideas suggesting how we can improve and almost always greet people who enter the IRC.

I hope that you find what you are looking for in EoS and I wish you the best.

Please don't leave. You had a mind with many great changes for WG. How much we respect you and what you do for us, is reflected with why you are an Elite Guardian now. I understand that you want to go to a clan with more PvP trips, but look: we are starting to have 3 weekly raids, with 1 of those being a megaraid. We are moving towards a more PvP atmosphere, and you can definitely help us with that. Just don't leave yet. Stay and see the changes.

You are a great member, and I feel bad not getting to really know you. With whatever you choose to do, good luck in the future.

in all honesty i have been thinking about joining a powerhouse clan also. especially since im f2p and all i can do is pvp anyway. im gonna wait a while before i make a decision though. stickin it out with the broski's here

Honestly one of the greatest members a clan could have. You are always so insightful and helpful towards leadership. You've always done whats in the best interests of the clan no matter what. I honestly saw you as a future council member. It honestly has been so great knowing you. I'll truly miss you.

Well where to start here...

I've had a decision to leave WG in my mind for like 3 months but never made the move. I thought I didn't because I just couldn't find a good powerhouse clan yet, I guess I was wrong.

I'm split up on two feelings: Stay in WG for the community, or join a powerhouse.

I've had second thoughts about my decision ever since I made it, I just was unsure. I've talked to few people in EoS in PM who provided me with good reasons to go EoS, and I've talked to few good friends in WG who also provided me with good reasons to stay. I decided to talk to a good friend of mine in RSC who helped me reach a decision about this (Yes, my decision, not his, he just helped me out by giving me facts about pro's and con's of both sides).

Lee, Billy, Kero and Buzz, I'm sorry guys that I can't be with ya, I'll still keep in touch with you all, no worries about that.

I decided to stay in WG.

I know some people will probably be against this because of what I've done, well what can I say, people make mistakes. I really am sorry about all this and if you want to discuss this decision with me, then PM me in IRC or IM me at MSN.

Going to close this topic now, once again, sorry for all this. I just want to state one last time all those who left never planned to do a mass leave, it just..happened :S
