Orders revised

Had my BCT shipdate changed, instead of being in May, which would allow me to complete my 11C OSUT over the summer, my shipdate has been changed to 20090729, or July 29.
Arrive at Ft. Benning on Aug 3, begin processing on the 4th, add in a week of reception plus the 15 week 11C OSUT course, and it puts a tentative graduation date of Nov 20......
Goodbye Fall semester of college.
Looks like I get to take intersession courses over the summer and christmas next year. Joy.

Ya, more time for training. I have drill in May, June, and July though, which means I can't go home, so I have to get an apartment.

Not so much, i'm quite far away from the explosion, seeing as we launch the mortars very far away.

Well, it sucks that they changed the date, but I didn't understand most of the main post until I saw that you're going to miss your fall semester of college... Good riddance tbh, you're going to OU, for God's sake.

If I can get within range of the 120mm then probably yeah. Of course, that's after I actually get my Expert Mortar qualification lol.
Side note:
That's the 120mm (Or as we call it, the 120 mike-mike for short).
It's a beautiful death machine isn't it?
