Gus and Bam, please read my updated guide to accepting apps in the manager forum.
Specifically refer to the part about the "Why you want to join" question.

OK then, welcome to WG mate. I won't make it to give you an access to the #wg IRC channel today so i'll do it tomorrow or maby if you ask some1 else to do it, it'll be fine too.
