Forum moderators

By Starzhine on 20/03/2009
We have an adult forum for adult fun, so offensive and crude language just for the thrill of writing it, needs to stop. We should have some standards. Not so harsh that it eliminates fun. If you have any doubt how bad it has become just scan through the topics and you will see the need for some forum rules and moderation.

Or. . . is WG a running wild, uncouth, undisciplined (with members not intelligent or mature enough to control themselves) clan. Even 14 - 20 years olds will get tired of it.

What do you think?

It is something I would be willing to take on.

Again according to a set of rules developed by the council!

I do agree that more leadership of some shape or form is desperately needed and have been pressuring almost every council about it daily for the last few weeks.

We desperately need active Australian/Pacific leadership be it raid leaders, a return of the moderator rank, or even a new council member. Since I am consistently getting told that there will not be a replacement for Anatcrafter (dont ask me why, I have no idea) perhaps a moderator would be a good idea.

Consistently the Aussie timezone has no leadership active during the 'normal playing hours' (not their fault, GMT'ers are at work/school, Elias has too much on his plate) and this has resulted in problems when Robbiebot has been failing reasnoably frequently recently.

I think a Moderator rank would be great.

After 20 months of our immaturity on forums and IRC, I am no less entertained by it.

i have brought it up numerous times, and even flamed over dealing with overboard stuff.
