TO TURN OFF:

/msg robbiebot .eval~$CONFIG['announcement'] = false;

How do you turn on?

"/msg robbiebot .eval~$CONFIG['announcement'] = true;" ?

I think so, not sure.

I edited the original post of this topic to change it, is that correct?

EDIT: I also did that stop command. The previous message was to apply for event leader but those are closed now... so I changed it to the first thing that came to mind.

Why did you do the stop command?
Now it is probably stopped for good neko2.gif

No it's all good.

Note that you can't use ' in the message or it will mess up.

I have to say, you guys are smarter than I thought... Yea, that is the way you re-enable it. Mind you, when robbiebot restarts, it is preset to true, though this doesn't happen very often.

as far as quotes...
code:
if($CONFIG['announcement']) {
*** do announcement code ***
};
So, unless that variable equates to boolean true(true or 1) it won't run.
