Funny stories.

So, I recently started playing my pure again, and some very funny stories have occured. In order:


The Rusher: I was standing in the wilderness, dds equipped, and potted up. Suddenly, an earth wave comes outta nowhere, and hits me. It being an earth wave, I'm not worried, and I see myself auto-retaliating. I hit someone in full mystic, and think "oh goodie." I see two 20+ hits from my spec, and I'm practically drooling at this point. I hit my quick prayers (protect item, str and att +15%, pro meele) and hit spec again. Rusher downed. Loot included mystic robe top, gloves, dds, bloods, and mis. gear. No pjers.

The Mistake: I'm at the chaos druids, getting potential/money, and my skull runs out. Since I brought some ice barrages along for safty (freeze a pker and run) and there was someone there who gave me permission to skull, as a joke, and as a way of showing off, I cast ice barrage. I hit a 30. Not fatal - until he auto'd back by mistake. My auto was on, and I didn't have the reflexes to stop. I hit a 12. He died. I talked with him, offered him the pk, but he was fine with it- he laughed his head off that he got killed. I talked with Greo, and he was ok with it.

Ice barrage ko's?: Someone in full rune challenged me (not smart for me to accept) and we start the fight. I use up all my dds specs, and failed to ko. I'm low on food, desperate, and I casted ice barrage. Hits 30. My recoil hits 1. Full rune downed. TERRIBLE loot. I wasn't happy.

The runner: Full rune, zerker necklace, and obby maul challenged me, with the only rule being no safeing. I agreed, and farcasted her a bit to get her low. She safed, and ran away. Fine. Whatever. Then she fought a ranger, and got 3 hitted. My loot. Epic pj fest. C'bow with d bolts, the special hitting, d claw special (I survived with no prayer @_@) and a magic short all tried to get a piece of me as I was looting. They failed, and I got the pk.

I once sold pixelated images to a bunch of guys on some chat forum for over 3 years, gaining in excess of one hundred MILLION gold, it was the greatest thing ever! I did practically nothing but draw shiny pictures to stimulate their minds and made out with more than anyone would ever believe! I then proceeded to build a mansion and load it up with the best of the best. Then Jagex blew up Runescape and I quit the game and the clan.

Last night was an epic failure. Mis-clicks killed me, a lot. 4 deaths, 0 kills, several hundred K lost. Oh well. It's all in the potential now.


Continuing the stories:

Killing myself: I'm fighting this one person, and we both have our dds's out, and are specing. We're both hitting really high. He teleports as I hit a massive spec on him...... and his recoil killed me. no loot for him.
Similar story when I was fighting a whipper. I decided to smite, he asked for no smite, he got told no. He hit me, I spec'd him, recoil hit me, he teleported. As he teleported, poison from a different fight hits me, one last time. I died.

The looter: I see someone with nothing on, running around the GE, not tricking, but apparently looting. I didn't stay long enough to see, but people in a pure combat zone arn't skillers. So, I got a skull off of him, since that's how I train/make money/get potential. He's redbarred by that (he was low to start with) so I finished him off. He actually had 25k+ that he lost, and I got a pk from it O_O.

Never take off your shield: A level 83 in armour challenged me to a re-match (we had fought before) but he wanted to keep his shield on. I walked away. He followed me, begging for me to fight, saying that he'd take off his shield. I agreed. 4 hits later he's cursing me. =) Good fight.



Today, if I can stand it, I'm going to be only training, getting money. I need to make a big push to get a whip, so I can really pk. I'm traning at chaos druids, and I'm keeping all ranarr+'s. My goal is to get enough ranarrs (200) to buy a whip, and all the other herbs will be for dds's, d scims, sharks, potions, etc etc etc. Then there should be some epic pking going on =).

Heh, good times. So where did these pks take place, was it just the GE area? Btw, AZ's drop quite a few ranarrs and are great exp too if that interests you.
