Banning Mugger84

I would like council to consider what we vote on and make a decision. But we all know it is up to council to do as they think is best for the clan. Please feel free to share your views here. I however expect maturity in the clan to keep this as a secure discussion. We don't want trouble with DF.

I've have noticed that Mugger84 has had a go at our staff, threatened a member, and seems to buddy up with our better war people. When any one seems the least bit unhappy he is there to help them join DF. It may only be me but that is how I see it. Not only that I have noticed that he seems to hang out on our intro forum a good bit. Could it be possible that Mugger84, who was willing to frame one of our members, is not so innocent. Could he be leaching our intros that our founder sweat to get to our forum?

Ask yourself this, what is his motive for being here? Most of his friends have moved on. I know Mark is close to him and that is fine. We should be able to have any friend we want. But what is best for us as a clan?

I don't like how he acts like he has power over the members of WG. It is my own personal thought and I vote he is banned. I have not had any trouble with him on a personal level since he left WG. I just see him as a threat to this clan which I love. Call me an overprotective member, but I have the interest of WG behind this.

Please at least post "voted or read" I would like to know that members are aware and watching the situation. If anyone has proof against him then that should be delivered to council as well.

Ban, he violated his 2 week notice which is a permanent ban anyway. No matter what else he did he still earns an automatic ban for that there's no reason he deserves to not be banned.

Hmm, I haven't noticed, I still chat with him now and then. But if he is seriously recruiting for DF (there's a difference between "yo join DF nub " and "I really think you should join DF man, it's a whole lot better than WG.") Then give him a warning, and if he doesn't listen give him the boot.

I think something like this could be a good idea as in that maybe certain people who we do not wish to be around here in our community anymore after they have left and are poisioning it. Should go to a clan poll on if we should remove them from our community because there are some people which we are better off without in our community and this is 1 of them.

I honestly hate Mugger. I have ever since he pulled his stunt of banning himself. And since he has returned with his "information" he has only flamed other members and caused trouble with other members. He acts like he is the shit and no one else matters.

I think you can derive my opinion and my pick out of this topic. If you read carefully on the topic that Gene made about the un-banning of Mugger, he said that if we had problems that he would change his mind on the un-banning. I saw quite a few people pose problems and guess what? Nothing happened.

I can understand some of our leaders want to keep our
lobby open for anyone with the intention of possible
recruitment, but we have seen plenty of instances recently
where ex members have hung out in our lobby and gotten
pretty dam rude to some of our current members.

I don't think that ANY of our currents clan members should
have to put up with any shit from non members in our very
own lobby. Period.

I also agree with Nick ^^ and remind everyone that Gene did
say that he values WG members over Mugger. I think the
numbers above should speak for themselves.

Now....lets see you live up to what you said Gene.

Every instance in which he is in WG he undermines and makes subtle jabs at our clan. He has a manipulative agenda to weaken and take from the clan our best assets. Granted he did good work before for us, but now he is a burder. His attitude and relationship to members has shown a conceited and malicious ego. Ban him, he is up to no good.

I would like to add his very presence has only undermined the leadership. He acts as if he still as power within this clan. I remember during the DF vs WG combat cup he joined our lobby to alert everyone in WG we had the times wrong and to start to mass now. That is not his responsibility. I know he is friends with Aardvark who is a cool guy, but honestly he is JUST BAD FOR THE CLAN. Can I over emphasize that enough?

That is what I look at when I see Mugger post.

Though I am sure Gene has his reasons for keeping Mugger around for the saftey of WG, I struggle to see where the benefits are when he is constantly working against WG where he has access by baiting members, and occasionally blatantly attempting to recruit members.

Though I would like to see him banned along with the majority, I think at the least he should have his Ex-member revoked to remove, or at least reduce his ability to recruit members that are leaving, or thinking about it.

I have a feeling that either way, mugger has probably allready leaked as much of Level 1-4 to DF anyway, I can;t imagine him keeping his trap shut, He'd love the feeling of power that it would give him.

I think Mugger should be banned again. He's done nothing but disrupt the clan in very subtle ways.

He's articulate and he's smart so he's able to really insult us without many people noticing what he's doing. He's able to do what he wants and has the ability to weasel his way out of a lesser punishment (if any).

He's no good for us, plain and simple. He banned himself.

He tossed WG aside when he abandoned his two weeks. Once he left us, he never cared for us. "Giving" us the spy was his way of getting back into WG's circle and honestly I think he had this all planned. He wanted to be able to access certain things to do some damage. H&Gs forum to see who's leaving and make a comment and possibly recruit. He wanted IRC access to just stir up trouble there and be able to have evidence for it. He knows people are more relaxed in what they say in the IRC so he can get some "good stuff".

He's looking to destroy WG without having a "real" part of it. He can say he was just making some comments and was jumped.

He's no good for us and should be re-banned.

I've never trusted him.

I've moved to try to get him banned in level 3, but that topic got around 2 posts .

Its clear he isnt here to chill out with his friends; he clearly spites WG whenever he can. I was very suprised that Lordy gave him his rank back for this "spy." From his attutide to people in #wg_lobby, acting like hes the shit after being a couple of weeks in big DF is infuriating.

This is another thing that I warned about, but whatever.

I really don't want to see mugger go. He served WG very well during his time here, and we've already been through the whole banning-unbanning thing before. However, having said that, if he is truly stealing our intros (and there is some proof) then he should not be allowed to stay. However, I voted for him to stay as an ex-member.

I would personally like to revoke his ex-member status at the moment, FIRST, and see how that goes.
Then that will act as his FINAL FINAL warning..... if anything else happens, then I suggest that he will be banned.

Will get Gene to look at this when he returns from inactivity.

Ya its not like we can't be friends with him. He just is not a friend to the clan as an entity. Just think of wg as a person and a friend to mugger. All he has done is make snide comments and take our members away? Is that a friend WG?

hes a fucking prick, sry for the language but he thinks he owns the place and can get away with anything.

First time i ever spoke to him he tried telling me that my view wasn't valid as he was in Wg before me, and that he had done so much for the clan etc etc, even though he joined a gd year after my Wg period.

Hes a cocky arrogant waste of space who constantly try's to tap up ANY member leaving and get them into Df, hope he gets what he deserves.

If this guy doesn't get banned then it doesn't seem right that Zlatan is banned, he is a good guy compared to this prick.

I thing that pisses me off is every time I look in Wg_lobby he thinks what he is doing is fine. Someone with authority needs to do something about him.

One of the things that happen to some who leave WG is arrogance. They believe that they are so much better, now they're in another clan. The majority dont prove to be asses, but there is a minority of those who return not to talk and chill with old friends, but to troll and prove how much better they think they are. A prime example of this is Mugger.

He makes a mockery of what WG stands for and how it works; after baiting members in lobby, he threatens comically to "tell lordy" and states that maybe Wg isnt the most "friendly clan in the clan world." He treats us like shit, and acts like the shit since hes "ex-warlord."

Voted, its sad for people to leave and even sadder when they decide to abuse act to create a hostile environment. I voted my conscience.

There may be other ones that are doing stuff. Members need to be helping watch out for the clan. Our staff cannot always be on being the police. Just help out when you can and report anything that is overly questionable.

I got called a bitch by someone yesterday for not putting up with their remarks at me in the lobby. I'm not going to put up with that either.

I am seriously wondering why Gene hasn't responded
on this post. He has aluded to the issue in a round
about way on the other post, but not here.

Looking at the numbers above, I think this warrants
a direct response and action taken.
Unless of course, he wasn't being truthful when he
said that current wg members are "more valuable"
to him than Mugger.

Ok I have had a discussion with Gene.
We have decided on the following course of action.

1. Mugger84 is to be warned on the basis of his actions noted above.
2. He is to be referred to the ex-member warning again.
3. He is to be told that if he even breathes out of line again he will be banned.

This is the course of action we have decided to take and we thank you for your opinions and for bringing all of this to our attention.
Please do not put down the Council, this is our decision and it rests with us.
You may have your opinion on it, but any flaming will not be tolerated.

In fact, there is no reason for this to remain open.
