What WG needs

Ok I'm going Nazi so I'm not the softie I once was.
I'm not your friend any more I'm your leader, and WG needs a strict leader.
I have compassion, but only when it's due.
Don't think you can get away with anything now.

As noted in my IA which you have all read, I have 2 hours to use the forums and lead the clan. Not enough. It falls on you to carry this out. Your name is placed beside the tasks I have asked of you.
I'm going to cut the foreplay. Here is what WG needs.

More events
More recruitment
Better executed raids

Glenn and BTO - Fixed raid times or not? There are no posted raid times and what's worse the clan doesn't care. Either make raids or stick by fixed times. Your call.

BTO and Mickey and DZ - Should you choose flexi-times, the raids need to be a minimum of 3 days in advance and you need to pester a council into adding the time to the weekly list

Groedius and Colonel and Saad - Time to crank out the events. Its shameful. VERY shameful, that I am now asking you for a third time to host more. We used to have 14 events a week and now we're reduced to 2 or 3. A good number is about 8 a week, maybe 9, and about three of those should be on a weekend.

Saad - The weekly events are not happening, for example the TS meeting. Scrap what events aren't needed.

Mickey - Please round up the RSC recruitment team and make sure they are doing their job. Revamp the recruitment posts as well. They suck and were only meant to be a stand-in.

David - It is now your job to head recruitment events. We're aiming to double our ML in 3 months... and it won't happen unless you

George - I might be able to squeeze in two hours next week to update WG.com. Tell me what parts need updating and compile photos for March and April please. Also update the news from Level 4.

Glenn - Back to CWA. Lets get a good CWA and PVP combo 50/50. We're too small to be any good in PVP against other clans. We can only wander around shallow wilderness.

George - Make recruitment your big thing before anything else. We have to get aggressive. Poaching from small clans looks like it has to be an option otherwise we're going to get even more tiny and inactive.

DZ - Head the P2P movement. There is high demand for people looking for P2P clans. If we show we can P2P this gives us an advantage. P2P is less competitive. Much more difficult to fight in, but if we get good, very rewarding indeed. And the potential helps. There are less clans out meaning we have a shot at deep wilderness and we CAN dominate once we get the members. Make the important announcement with instructions on p2p gear.

Glenn - Please expand the public section on the clan site. Don't do anything without my final word, but restructure it so that it is more appealing to guests who may want to visit frequently. Perhaps a clan discussion section, an ex-member's lounge (with some raid times for them to join in and stuff) and anything else you may want. Make it accessible so that guests have a lot to talk about. Maybe even open the real life forum to them and then make a clan-only real life forum? Just a half-thought. Run it by me.

Andrew - Go through the entire member list and identify members who aren't pulling their weight. PM me this list. This is one of the most important jobs. Base it on event attendance and forum posts and IRC presence. Do your research. No guessing.

Ill start working on this list and get it done as soon as but I have a final project to finish in 3 weeks. Ill work on it as quick as i can though.

Ok im going to do an activity analysis from Event attendance, posts per day and somehow IRC activity.

For event activity should i use the rolling event count ?

Um, rolling event count is not advisable.
Just have a quick flick through recent attendances.
Also don't forget your regular dutuis of hosting events.
It works out to about 3 events per event leader per week, which may or may not include the weekly events.

On a more personal note, last performance is tonight then I just need a few days to play catch-up on homework, then I'll be around much much more.

Streak of inactivity for me... family problems... well you know about them Gene, as do Randy and Glenn.

I will do my best with the pictures.... my best is all I can do at this difficult time for my family. And then as you know I have exams.

I have 3 months to give in the summer though, without any interruption so yah i'll do my best.

I'm going to make MORE of our forums public, such as event recaps I think. Maybe we'll seem like more active of a clan if we do that. I'm unfortunately in agreement with the CWA era returning. I'm pissed off we have to do it, but I don't know what else to do.

I think we do need to be "assholes" to the members though. If you want I can make the IA. If there's a raid or whatever on, you get your fucking ass there. If there's a war posted, its MANDATORY sign ups, or 20% warn that DOESN'T GO AWAY. If we catch you ditching an event, I'd probably say 40-60% instant warn that is not appealable. Fear is the only thing that is going to make these kids work better and harder.

But not too much fear because WG doesn't have a lot going for it atm so people aren't inclined to stay like they used to be.

Glenn, i get what you're saying but what does that do for the non-pvp part of WG. Your suggestion or idea is all pvp based. Even though non-pvp events aren't mandatory or as important as the wars or raids. I just don't want to be the guy who hosts events for the same 4 people forever. We have to make it strict for non-pvp events also, because if we don't this clan will be a pvp only clan.

Right now it is just an inactive, i dont care, lets talk, kinda of clan.
