WG Plan/To Do List

We need to set out our course of actions for a bit of time, we've been throwing ideas in all directions, and since nothing is ordered, we're not doing them.

I suggest

1. Accept war with BoS on Saturday, ask for two weeks prep, apps closed.

2. Launch a combat competition?
-Figure out an easy updating system (Job or Robbie)
-Mass up the prize money
-Decide on the length (2 weeks? A month?)

3. During the two weeks of prep, have some basic training so that people don't get rusty, and so that new members get the hang of things (develop some tactics?)

4. Recruitment plans (How are the posts/site going Gene?)

5. Insert idea from the TS Debate night here.

6. In parallel to everything else, I think we should encourage a tad more Community/NonCombat events.

That all sounds good. I agree with everything that you've said.

Although I think we should plan this war based upon whether we win the war this Saturday against 2mighty. If we win, morale will be high and the whole clan will be pumped. If this is the case then we should have a 1 week prep. If we lose, i reckon we should have a 2 week prep.

Not a bad point. However, I do think some of the newer members need a bit of perfectioning in terms of basic skills (not getting KOed, following commands swiftly, improvement in binding etc...).
Two weeks of prep leaves us enough time to have enough practice events, possibly test tactics in miniwars in the spare weekend, and the space for enough events so that timezone-handicapped people can attend.

I agree with everyone in almost the exact same order, I would move 6 up to 4 however, there have been barely of these and I want to make sure that gets looked at ASAP.

Regardless of win or lose in the 2m war, I still think the BoS war should be a two week prep. Thats lots of time for practice, training, and overall improvement.

Yeah, That's a good idea, what are the rewards going to be for the Combat Competition?

Yeah, Training over the two weeks should be very helpful, like every 3 days or 2 days. I'm worried about halting our Recruitment though, people who would have decided to join Wg would have to wait 2 weeks and I think that'll put them off.

I'm sure Eugene's on the Recruitment side and nearly finishing it off.

And we have war against 2mighty, hopefully that goes all well, if that does, we'll get a nice morale boost and possibly a few more Intros.
