Robbie's Training Plan
By RobbieThe1st on 11/05/2009
I have gotten just a tad interested in Runescape again, so I am hoping and planning to do a bit of training over the next few months.
Currently I am F2P, but I am planning on going P2P for one month, to train Agility and other things.
My goals so far include:
1. Get 85 magic(for teleblock) [This will require 31,481 high alchs - at 1k per hour, 32 hours F2P]
2. Increase defense level and possibly atk/str. [Def to 90 will require 1,973,914 exp, Attack to 90 will require 2,039,753 exp, and Strength to 90 will require 2,042,116 exp]
3. Increase agility. Perhaps to 75. [This will require 760,405 exp - 1,331 wildy course runs]
4. Somehow make some money in the process. [Currently I have 1.5 mill cash]
Now, I know the Agility is going to require the P2P, and perhaps the defense/offense. I am going to be trying to do FOG as an alternate magic xp method.
Any suggestions/pointers?

that's a great plan to fog it out...
but if u get exhausted try to afk alittle =D
good luck dude =D

fog wont be good for mage xp.
Buying Ruby rings from the store in zanaris and alching there (unnoted) you will lose little, break even or make money.
Combat training, train on free to play at the spiders in the green level of the stronghold of secruity.
You can make guarrentied money runecrafting on pay to play or risk you members going boss killing.
Train agility at ape atoll if you have done monkey maddness quest, if not, dont bother, stick to wildy course.
hope that helps.

^this
it takes a couple trys to boss kill and not get koed etc, idk if u have done boss killing before, but i still reccomend runecrafting or another skill to make money, eg wcing mages/yews, fishing sharks etc

DKs is pretty easy. We can also hold a mass Bandos event. The money won't exactly be rolling in, but if we get a hilt it's another mill or so for ya. It's pretty safe and very easy to learn.
FOG isn't a great way to train Magic. I'd suggest alching somewhere seculded in the Wilderness on a PvP/BH world and then finding someone to 26k with. It's not guaranteed cash but more often than not you'll come out with more than you started.

oh my..you're still playing? that's a pretty ncie plan

Train combat at zombies. I make about 100-150k a trip (which is like an hour long or so...if that), and that's without bunyip and in garbage gear and without piety, so it's not that bad

. Also good xp, like 60-75k an hour.
GOGOGO!

You can't teleport in BH worlds anyways.. Unless your doing PVP Worlds, Teleblock is useless.

Spiders at stronghold would seem to be a good idea - fairly safe and probably AFK-able.
I have been finding around 4k/hour mage XP at fog. Horrible, but fun(and good for getting berserker shields).
I shall look into RCing on P2P when I go members; which rune would be best at my level?
Having done monkey madness, what is the advantage of doing the ape atol course vs doing the wildy one? Aside from it being safer.

Possible, but it would seem to be slow.

That may not work; I have 800ms-1.5sec lag all the time. I can deal with it to some extent, but I don't know about prayer-switching in time or w/e.

Alching what exactly?
It seems like it might be good, once I find a good item for alching.

Hm... You may have a point there. Assuming you have a limited amount of time, what would -you- train instead? Remember that I want my skills to be useful in F2P, as I don't plan to be members for however long I still play.
Thanks for your input all, I shall see about revising my plan once I get a bit more info.

They look to be P2P-only to me...
By Quikdrawjoe on 14/05/2009
They are p2p only.
For agility, Ape Atoll is faster than wilderness unless you have brawling gloves.
At 74+ Agility you'll never fail Ape Atoll so theoretically you could camp there forever.
Agility applies to f2p also, the level does have an effect in f2p(Look in Knowledge Base)

Ah. That is what I needed to know.

I already knew this, but this brings up an interesting question:
Since I went purely F2P(ran out of members), it -seems- that I can't run as long as I used to be able to, on F2P worlds. What I need to know is if this is my imagination, or indeed Agility works on F2P so long as you have member credit.

Nats are best at ur level, but its barely worth it now with the ess/nat price.

You don't really need to be fast at prayer switching, well unless prime spawns when you're still killing supreme but that's usually not a problem.

Agility i think is a bit of a waste of time to train if you're only being a member for a month, 65 agility is fine for now and i think it'd be better to focus more on money making and power training combat.

Ok, its been over a week. Check what I have been doing recently; got any suggestions?
