Alliance Boosting Ideas

The main issue I see with our alliances is the fact that we only know their leaders and not their members. That's not really what an alliance should be. Look at one of the strongest alliances in RS ever - Col + TT. They literally had every single event together including pks. I'm not sure if the council is accepting the ZT alliance which I'm iffy about, they haven't really shown us any activity at all.

But anyways, we need more stuff going on. I had recently suggested an Alliance CC, which I made (Alliance_H_Q). I ranked all WG staff and TDM staff. It's not really going to work that well but it is good for events. The password is "Nothingleftalliance" incase of emergency.

BTO suggested an Alliance IRC channel. This is a great idea, the only problems I foresee is a power issue for ownership + ops/halfops. If anyone is good with IRC please make a channel?

My next suggestion is to merge homeworlds. But idk 27 is tradition? Kind of bullshit because we can't even do anything there without the fear of RoT seeing our massing or something. And I doubt our allies would for the same reason, but if we did, it would be great because you would actually see people.

We need some more allied events. What was the last time we actually had an event with TBE? And not just a muted-TS pk or ToG, something that people can actually get involved in. This would be much easier if we set up the IRC.

I think the IRC would be a great idea, since the CC may eventually go into activity, just like the "his lordship" CC.

Also, maybe we need to encourage making allied events available for ALL allied clans. Atm, its invite only, and other clans dont know about it unless we invite them. Maybe we need a to post on other allied forums regularly with our events? We'd need the IRC to effectively alert others, since they obviously wont care as much if it not for their clan.

Let's have one of those P2P PKRI's in CWA that we used to do for p2p war training with our allies, those are fun :>
