Bias in the Family

As we know most parents adore their children, but sometimes it seems they have a favorite or a bias toward someone.

I don't think my parents have a favorite, but on some days I can see that they favor one of us over the others. It is human nature to do that. The problems occur when it is overly obvious to us and our egos get injured. I have noticed that the oldest gets the harder punishments for things and they don't be as harsh with the youngest.

Yeah I'm the eldest of three boys
I dont know, its different being the oldest, so much more responsibility(when i was younger, i always had to clean the house, fill out all the forms, pretty much everything while my brothers just sat there doing nothing) i suppose thats why I get the upper hand most of the time.

Sometimes i wonder if it's worth it or not though >.> For example, when me and my brother go out, I'm the one always having to leave early because I have to get called in for our family business

well my family is really different..at least i think so we are 4 brothers (like da movie, isn't that cool? ) i'm second youngest. We don' really see the oldest one too often since he doesn't live at home atm. The second oldest is always busy too...so i'm the oldest at home, so i get all the shit from them...i usd to think my parents do have favorites but when you get older you know that it's just impossible...all parents love their children the same.

I am the oldest, i have 2 brothers and 1 sister. In the past, i have to do a lot of home work; i always try to help my parents because they do the same for me. My siblings were lazy a bit, because they knew its me here, i will do it. But now i am at college so i am barely at home and so my siblings have to do also that home works which i usually do if i am at home. Yes, nowadays they are doing much more as few years before, but i think they are still lazy
In general my patrents love us same, but i think i get better treatment than my siblings

Both my sister and I get pretty good treatment, but everyone knows I'm the favorite. Mainly because she's so full of drama 24/7 and I'm really chill.

I'm the oldest - by 6 years. So I get all the responsibility, but I also get great treatment. I usually get what I want, but then again I only ask for things like twice a year.

My little brother is a brat though. He's going through the stage where he wants everything, and obviously can't have everything. Then he sees me get my one thing for the year and thinks I'm getting better treatment.

I'd say we both get equal treatment though. I'm getting a little more right now because it's my last few months living with my parents so, yeah.

I nulled for the purpose that my mother expects the world out of me and treats me like shit, but still tries to be nice all the while yelling at me for everything bad life. She confuses the hell out of me, so I can't really tell if I am even the favorite.. as for my father, his wife has him so whipped that he can't even send money to help out his only son, while she gives her kids anything they want.

Youngest always is favored

Well I guess as im the oldest and the first borne son i seem to be somewhat favoured over my sister. My dad and I get on really well and he hardly punishes me if i at all i can get away with nearly anything and usually my sister has already done something worse and she is 2 years younger then me. This favouritism i think originates from my Nan and Grandad as my Dad was an only child so now I am like there little boy and i can get my Nan to do anything i want but that is not so for my sister and usually i ask her to do stuff for my sister. So i guess you could say i am somewhat the favourite however i do know if i push my dad too much he would own me lol.

Also as for responsibility for being the oldest really from being the oldest i had no responsibility i have never done chores or anything like that my sister does all that kinda stuff. I only do stuff like that IF i want to do it and the only time really when I have had somewhat responsibility as being oldest if is weve gone somewere together and i am to look out for her. Like when we went to school i used to look out for her and such but not really like being forced to do anything etc.

i never had a problem with this because my parents weren't around during my "kid" years. i grew up and i just see my younger brother and baby brother grow up. in which case they seem to get the same treatment its just my baby brother gets more attention and i hang around with my little brother by playing sports. he is 6 years old and i believe if i built his endurance he can become a great player and probably go pro. he has the built and the ability to do so. i'm just being his coach and mentor
