Preparing for Forum Changes

By His Lordship on 23/05/2009
Should we make events recaps public, given 2 things:

1. Old raid stuff is in there, including the current Aussie raid time, and our massing details.
2. Many events have poor attendance and may deter applicants. Perhaps wait until attendance picks up?

Second thing, I'm splitting the Real World forum.
We're going to have a Real World forum, and a Members Only sub-forum for shit that we don't want to share with the public.

Once Darth has made this forum, can you please move our current topics into members only? Anyone who wants topics put in the public part of the Real World forum, go ahead and grant their request.

I suggested a while ago that we post wars that we win and good raids in the public section. Everything else should be private.

I'm cool with wars and raids being recapped publically as long as we don't reveal any strategies we used or anything like that in them.

I think the gallery gives a more favorable view of WG, assuming it is updated.

Our current event recaps are kinda depressing.

I'm just brainstorming here...

Recaps are posted in the clan only recap forum.... so attendance is posted there, then updated- boom boom....
Then after 3 days... or more/less w/e, the recap is moved down to a specially-made public forum- WE DO THIS VIA A MULTI-MOD COMMAND, just make the multi-mod command move down to the public forum, the multi-mod won't edit out attendance, but we can do that separately- won't take long.
(The multi-mod will be like the current one in the graduation forum which moves old grads to the archives)

Rate, hate, masturbate.
