Your favourite WG memory

This is a real tough one for me, because there are almost 6 years worth.
I HAVE to have a 2-way tie.

IRL Meeting 1 - We went back to my hostel and Snowzak, Cameron, Andrew, Steve... everyone was peeking over my shoulder at the keyboard as I was logging onto the forums.

IRL Meeting 2 - Epic pub crawl. Alex, Owen and me got super pissed and just roamed around Paris with a load of strangers who we got to know pretty well afterward. Was epic.

Beating BoS for RAW rank after the alliance went sour.
The CWPL war against TSC, which they forfeited.
The raids last year when it was the same five people at every raid.

No but on a serious note, the clan quest. It was the most fun I've ever had in my entire Runescape career.

I would have to say the clan quest/anniversary month.

I would say the DOA war but my shitty computer at the time caused me to lag like mad so I couldn't REALLY enjoy it...

The BD war is up there for sure, I remember it was my first war with my new computer so I wasn't lagged like mad. I survived it too and it was sweet at the end when there were like 20 of us celebrating and clearing out looters.


I really can't think of one right now.

Saying holy ****! in social studies class while checking the forums and seeing I won the council election

Oh and getting one of the first kills in the DoA war

Personally, the only *great* memories that I can think of would be pre-wars.
Giraffes in the air (whichever war that was), when we pulled 60 to the RAW match against CR I believe it was, umm... idk anything else.

I wasn't able to attend most of the anniversary events due to IRL issues and commitments so I sadly have not really experienced those the way I want to.

I really wish I would have joined WG earlier in my RuneScape career (like before I joined my previous clan that I stayed in for a year, or even before that) to experience many of the things that I have heard were great such as KF raids, clusters, the DoA war, and other things that went on in the old wilderness, but meh. I can't go back in time.

I hope that I have the chance experience many more great time in my remaining time in WG. I guess I have to make it the best I can.

My favourite WG memory has to be the first event I went to when I joined, it was the one we did for Gene's 10 min Recruitment vid:

A close second would have to be the 'fight' vs TSG for CWPl, pulling 60 and having them too scared to turn up was just epic

first war vs Valor, i will never forget it, i think that was my first event to attend as a WG member even if i got koed within 10 seconds

Unfortunately when i looked over lordships shoulder i didnt catch his password and i didnt peep in the urinal either fail. Lolol Although IRL meeting 1 was epic yeah and we have had some epic fun at KF raids and staying up all nighters lately at GWD with dilz and robetw56 before they left.

I was like "OMG I GOT 10 ANSWER GOOD".

And massing in Juliets house and running to the Monastery. <3

Like May-July of 2008.

We were beasting it up over the summer for CWPL.

And i had the best time of my WG life with Abs/Glenn/BTO. We did like 5 gwd trips a day, we were like 4 girls who couldn't stay apart.

Then Abs went emeritus, Glenn became inactive, and bto went to his true inner azn'ness and hates everyone.

good times though

Leading Allies vs SE, which eventually turned into Allies + SE vs VR. We constantly kept them below 100 opts and constantly kept beating their regroups

The TU war. It was the first war I actually survived. It was awesome.

Mine would have to be the BD war, like DZ i had just got a new computer and i could really enjoy it(i'd been playing on a laggy computer from lvl3-105)

And of course, KF raids were the most amazing experience ever
You couldnt pull that stuff off anymore this the new wilderness

I have no favorite moment. My favorite time has been my whole journey with the clan. I know its corny, but I can't single out one win or something like that, because I always see wins as "just another win." Even though we seem to be struggling a bit, I don't have any less fun. Every day on IRC is a gift to me.
I guess my most fuzzy feeling I ever feel in WG is seeing a kid that doesn't think he can war. He gets koed and doesn't bind and struggles with the whole of warring. Just seeing them develop into a devout warrer is amazing, especially when I see you teach OTHERS.

probably back in the old wilderness, green drag luring was always fun and p2p pking in general.
